It is right up front at the other end of the lower radiator hose - really easy to get to after you remove a few things - or you can fight it and try to fit your hands in there - i couldn't find any fail safe 160/155 degree stats - anyone know of using something like this on our car? I'm half guessing ours is 180 which is probably fine.

I was skeered to use my stocker - you want to buy mine - it has 108k on it?

definitely no doubt about the cooler - it completely slipped my mind - and was great information to know that the temp creeped up (i'll have no idea what my temps are) - i have to rely on my oil to do its work for this track day - unless i stumble across a cheep cooler from ebay or something - i have used Setrab in the past so that would be my choice if i had to have a brand on it - more capacity is great

I always wonder about adding the restriction to the oil pump because the pump prob. isn't designed to flow the added oil and restriction but its prob. not anything at all anyways -

I didn't run a cooler on my supra - and haven't added one to the Subaru either - so i never even thought about it with the Z -

Chris, did you replace with iridium or platinum, on courtesy it is saying the iridium are discontinued
Plug change is real easy just do one at a time. If you have a wire tuck u can do plugs in about 10 mins. depends on how often u want to change
Ur plugs on what u want to buy. Platinum are what is stock but who wants to wait til 100k to change. I run the copper plugs cuz they burn hotter but
I change
Them every 5k since I'm f/I.

Allstar if need be hit me up if you wanna run by the shop for any help with all ur mods. I can lend a hand if not
Busy. U can u my branick spring compressor if u like it just take the nut off and let it fly. Lol

nice I owned a 95 TT and it didn't need anyting. My father was a lexus engineer and I took that supra off his hands, he purchased it originally for 48k with his discount, anyway he told me how over engineered it was for its time, because steel was still so prevelant back then they saved weight on all sorts of things hollow carpet fibers single exhuast but he said they were built for 500HP sustained all day then detuned them to 320. I remeber adding the BPU totalling 2200 bucks and putting 490 to the wheels along with doing the TTT mod (for those not in the know the true twin turbo mod) supras were actually sequential (as opposed to simultenous twins) so 1 turbo spooled momentarily after the other so eliminate lag, but the twins were so small lag was never an issue. Crazy too that they used tremec gear boxes anyway it was bad@ss, a little heavier than the Z bad@ss

Maybe we should do a tech day over there.
I have a spring compressor. I've used it on several cars and it's about reached it's limit, but I'll give it a go anyway.

Having a tech day isn't a prob. Almost have all the cars out of the shop and it's not that hot just yet. My branick is a wall mount spring compressor. I've had several of the big bolt ones but with the progressive springs on the newer cars and trucks I don't think they are safe. You can literally compress a spring in like 2mins

Oh man I've been curious about those wall mounts. Mine is the old gator mouth handheld unit with the big bolt. It's pretty worn out from probably 10 installs.
