Yep, that's exactly what I thought it was, too. A buddy of mine with an FX 2 years older had his go bad, and the dealer wanted to replace the whole metal frame. I chuckled because I knew you guys replace just the bushing all the time.

Jake, I'll get in touch with you when I'm back in town and see if it's something worth doing.

Oh, and I'm not sure I can get the diff cover because I use the diff as my rear jack point. I assume that would mess up the fins, but I'm not sure exactly how it's shaped.

No snag with the plug change. You just have to work around some wires, and take off the CAI. 105,000 miles when I changed mine, don't know how long they were in but they looked good. I didn't notice any change with the new ones.

Get a spark plug socket so it will hold the plug. Make sure and get them started by hand. It's aluminum block so go easy till they get started and don't over torque.

My issue was with coil packs going out. It was not related to the plug change but I had two fail on me in the same week.

Stu...I'm pretty sure you can still the rear Diff as a Jack point with the Finned cover on....you just have to adjust a bit.

yep - ebay has some aluminum ones for 167 vented with a filter access that sound entertaining - was hoping someone had some spare stockers or something laying around taking up space, kinda like a dual favor

- do you have a line on 350z junkyards? local? you pull-its maybe?

There are vendors on this forum that sell nice aluminum options. As for junk yards with Zs I would have to ask Jason. He used to know where all the good Z finds were.

It can't be much for an OEM replacement.

Oem replacement is like 90 bucks I think. I had the zspeed and another aluminum under shroud. Deff worth the money.

Wow I guess the OEM is more than I thought. It doesn't surprise me being OEM though.

The black one is $199 and the aluminum is $165. I don't think I could pay that, but it's an option I guess. I would go to a junkyard first though.
