Ya I'd say I'm an HD snob. I downloaded two movies from TPB the other day. One was great, the other was cam quality with bad spots in the audio. It was hard enough watching on the laptop, don't think I'd ever mess with it on a larger screen.

 

What kind of links do you all have ? Is this for Pwarno stuff ?

Well Quang has given me a decent suggestion. Unfortunately it's not free.

It seems like it may be a good option, but I'm still looking for free. The free site I use on occasion is hit or miss on quality, but it's free. I'm trying to find something with reliably good quality downloads and still free. I dunno if that exists though.

 

How much is it ?

 

It varies based on your requirements, but with netflix's new pricing it can actually be cheaper than netflix. It's not bad at all, but I still prefer free.

 

It's called newsgroup. The only bad thing is you pay for your own server which cost about 10-11$ a month. I used to use torrent and use private torrent sites but got tired of having to upload/finding seeds. Newsgroup you can download at whatever speed your connection maxes out at(I download at about 1.8-2.5mb/s on newsgroup. You can set everything up to even act as a dvr. It'll download as soon as its release. So when you get home it's already downloaded. They have every movie you can think of. The only ones not on there are the ones in theater (even of somewhere else has it for dl it's most likely cam version or telesync which is pos quality since I'm a high def snob. Movies on there normally comes out before the DVD/blu ray releases. I'll post more info about it later if you're interested. It has everything from music/documentary/anime/movies/tv shows/sports/e-books etc

 

I will try to hunt for some deals but news group should only run you $7-$12 a month and I jumped in on a lifetime deal at newsdemon on black friday last year for $5.99 a month for unlimited with SSL and 20 connection or so (only need 5 connections to max out my isp). I would wait till black friday and find some sort of trial you can use to see if you like and keep an eye out on SLICKDEALS for info on newsgroup deals on black friday. (Beauty about newsgroup is SSL, no uploading/seeding, and it will MAX out a 20-30mbit line.
