i think my tob is making noise - kinda sounds like an exhaust leak.. or similar... rattly thing noise ish - no high pitched squeal - so maybe its not the tob - but it seems like it is - i dunno - but its vaguely annoying
travis - my opinions only - i have a bit of experience but i'm not an engineer - A small displacement engine works better with a heavy flywheel or stock weight flywheel 95% of the time. like my Subaru for example - i won't dream of putting on a lightened flywheel as the drive-ability isn't worth the effort - A light weight flywheel makes the engine rev faster but also makes the engine to drop rpm's faster. For that reason is mainly used for road racing because it can help the car to accelerate faster from the corners. But for Drag racing the car (especially if it is a heavy vehicle) is usually slower with the light weight flywheel. the momentum is lost in between shifts.
For street use you are going to like that the engine can rev faster, but don't expect it to be any faster at the drag strip than with a factory weight flywheel.
Light flywheels are NOISY mf'rs - and somewhat annoying for daily stuffs - i've had several - for supra, and the subaru as well - and for both i ended up back with a stock flywheel for a good driveability -
I don't know the specific characteristics of this car - but i currently have a stock clutch and flywheel from what i can tell and the car drives great - i am going to try to find some other throw out bearing options though - i appreciate the link you shared - and R1 do you have any info on the nismo tob? does it have a different part number?

Mike,
i appreciate the info and personal experience, with that being said i see that nismo flywheel is about 28% lighter than my stock compared to the jwt that is 50% lighter, might be a good balance of performance and functional.
think i am going to go with this setup

Travis, here is the target practice device I was telling you about.
I was told that the actual Bullet specific is better than the multi bullet laser.
It is pretty cool for at home.

Also here is some good correction target charts you can use at the range to see what your doing wrong.

Mackie, I have not personally had them on my car. I bought them from someone on this site and had to fix them. Very minor repair issue.
It was a long time ago....and I just lost interest in them.
I will try to test fit them on my car and take pics.

Sup guys.....
Well, i have been mega absent...we miss DFW so much, but life in SA is going great...finally......took way to long for our house to be built...first it was a deadline of november 2011...yada yada, long story short our house was closed on March 21st, 2012!!!
We moved over a year ago, and the house was the biggest mess ever, moron builders! but we had a lot of customs and they thought they could handle over the Z-YA and I never backed down from what they "said" they could do! lol..
The best news ever is shortly after getting into our house, our Daughter was born!
Lena blessed us 4/24/12 and has been a bundle of joy for us.!
