Travis,
there are a few muffler shops in the old part of Lewisville just off of Mill street and main.
I bet you can find a shop around there to weld that for you.

Travis - If you have a local weld it you lose all warranty on it. If you're going that route I'd save the cost at a local and just buy some different HFCs. Mine have been on the car for 5+yrs without issue.

Most have decided on Mineral Wells on the 30th. Chris (fithamoto) is signed up for the 13th and I think most guys will do that one. Unfortunately I won't make the 13th, but am in for MW on the 30th (this Sunday actually).

Check out the Crawford HFC's....I heard they are very good....but expensive.
i just looked at the berk and the z1 motorsports ones... one thing they have is the ears that mount to the factory cat arm, i wonder if i could have a shop fabricate something like that so they wont flex (and if it wont void my warranty with kinetix)

Anyone who's interested, the ONR car wash soap I use and have talked to some of you about is on sale today from DI.

I can't really say for sure. My paint looks better than most, but definitely swirled up again. With that said, the dealer washed it last year when I had asked them not to.
It should not cause any marks when used correctly though. I also used a somewhat dirty drying towel last time so that could have led to it also. It's also so hot out in the summer that the ONR+water dries up quickly on the paint and you lose the lubricity.
I love ONR though. Makes washing easy, and I think it leaves the paint feeling awesome. One good cleaning/waxing and you can just do a quick ONR wash once a week and keep it looking great.

stu do you use it as a wash or quick detailer?
so i just got an email from kinetix, they told me that it might be cheaper to get someone to weld it up locally.... i also inquired about having tabs made to connect to the factory brace for support, they said that wouldnt void the warranty, but any welding on the cat portion would. he said if i sent it they would weld crack on the base of the cat portion back together since it is low on it and not in the middle. if the element inside is damaged i would have piece of it fall out when i take it off huh?
