I email Maggie today about the track day on Sat. Dec 8. Its 50 bucks with a toy and 2 items of food for donation.

4-5 sessions and they are cutting the enrollment at 70-75. She says she is at 68 cars right now.

Chris P and Chris F are planning on going and are not in that total so if anyone else wants to go you need to sign up soon.

Here is the Website. http://www.eaglescanyon.com/2008/sch...yr=2012&mon=12

Shoot her a email and she will put you on the list. Then fill out the drivers info form and send in.

I called directly and she said to email mwilliams@eaglescanyon.com so I sent mine and Patrick's there. Hopefully, they're all the same and all 5 of us (Scott, Fith, Pat, Mike, me) got in.

So, does this mean we finally get to see Mike at a racing event?

I'm just looking forward to some good old track time and seeing 5 Zs on the track.

BTW, a big thanks to Scott is in order, as he offered to help troubleshoot the popping noise coming from the front of my Z. We were able to locate / fix the main popping sounds coming from the front (new ball joints) and I even got a quick, impromptu alignment (front toe was messed up after the ball joint install). My main concerns were addressed so I'm happy.

I still have a small pop (located that today as well) and some mysterious creaks coming from the rear end somewhere. What's funny is my car threw 3 codes shortly after I left Scott's house. With all the issues my car's having recently, I think the Z's trying to tell me she's tired and wants to be left alone.

I'm excited to see 5 Z's that is awesomeness - yay!

are they popping because they are rebranded megan ball joints? (thats a joke.....) or is there something else? are you going to go with the Duralast battery ball joints? (another joke) humor - it does a body good -

lol @ codes! ... you should start a new day job! ... lol

have you all driven out there @ eagles canyon?

great place for photos! take off your center caps though especially if you have rota's

I think both the eBay and Duralast ball joints have a different (narrower/smaller) taper than the OEM conical seat.

Scott and I just added 2 washers under the Duralast's [castle] nut, which is what Jake and I did 2 years ago with the eBay ones.. How long that'll last is a different story, but OEM ones are crap to begin with (especially if lowered).

very cool - thanks - I didn't know if you ended up "making" the ebayers fit or if you went with the built to last duralast - thanks for the washer tip too -

Happy to help,

Mike, looking forward to meeting you. I think its the first time for the rest of us so your are elected track expert.

5 Z's is a good turn out for any of the events.

Brand new RS3's are ready to go.
