Plus you owe me a nice gesture also.

JaE35z, No I don't think that falls under the safety inspection guide lines. I don't have one on my Z.

Stu, you back out in Cali ?
Are you gonna be doing any detailing this next summer ?
I only ask because I want another good wax/detail of the exterior and I would wait for you to do it this summer....but if not then there is a G35 guy that is out here that does it also....I would rather give you cash than him tho.
When you get back in DFW, lets get together and have a beer !

Other than the class test and shooting test, you need fingerprints done, send in some paperwork, and fill out forms online about past history and stuff.
Both tests seemed pretty easy. Shooting one is very easy, the written test was a little confusing but apparently I passed. They don't tell you your actual score at the place I went to so if you ever end up in court they can't hold it against you if you did really well/poor.
Shooting is easy like Stu said and the finger prints have to be done electronically now & you have to make an appointment to get them done.

It won't ever stop you from needing reading glasses when you reach the 40's, but your distance remains great.
I highly recommend it for anybody that can qualify for it....and most people do, only a few exceptions that they won't want to do it.
Travis, where is your consultation at ?
i am near sighted so half of the time i take my glasses off when i read anyway, my consult is at Tylock. my vision isnt really bad to begin with, my left eye is -1.25 and left is -1.50 with slight astigmatism in both. i just get tired of glasses and in the summer my allergies are so bad wearing contacts is next to impossible for more than 4-5 hours

I loved the results.....that is why I want to do it again....I'm not ready for glasses again. I love not having to have a prescription set of sunglasses and the regular set as well.
If you do it you'll love it also.
My original Dr. was Boothe in Plano.....and if I go back there I think I get a pretty good discount....so I might go back to them. Otherwise I will get some basic pricing from others.
My suggestion is The Tilted Kilt in Lewisville. It's never really crowded so there wouldn't be an issue getting a big table. They have a great draft beer selection and they usually have some pretty hot waitresses there.
