chris, you should have rolled up there last night with us... it was a good night to be there
woo hoo, car is done... about to go get it.
so clutch pedal is alot stiffer and more consistant on the feel, the guy at the shop said it was the best master/slave combo he has ever put in and that he is confident that i will never have any problems with it again

I jacked around with it a few months ago to see what was loose under there and I could find anything.....I'm just about ready to yank it out and take it to a Stereo shop and have them put in something else.
If I get mine replaced, you can have it.

thanks Chris - i have that same problem - i did a "paper fix" that worked for quite a while but meh - its acting up again -
what i think what i'll do though is hook this aftermarket amplifier i got up to my stock bose speaker and see how that sounds

just to let you know, bose speakers work at a lower rating (1/2 - 1 ohm) than aftermarket speaker (4-8 ohm), they have all their stuff so it matches... go to any reputable stereo shop and they will tell you that anything BLOSE is a pain

I like the sound with the bass....but without it it sucks. I would like to just swap all the speakers out and get something like MB quarts or whatever....but not sure I want to spend money on a system I don't really use.
AM radio is my friend and all I usually listen to is the Ticket or 1080 for news.
Does anybody know if there is a Sub that can just swap out into the oem space in our Z ?
most bose head units are clarion, and since my radio and all my speakers but the sub has been replaced the bass kinda sucks since the factory amp is still in use
if you plan on putting it in the factory spot you would get the best sound from a free air one (that what the bose is), i have seen some of the people in the audio that built a little up firing box that fits in the factory location
The Bose speakers run at 2ohm. If you run an after amp to them they'll sound better but youre going to have to run a power wire for them and everything else. Also make sure the amp is going Including a line output converter.
