So this page needs a little good news.
I got my exhaust fixed for $20 today.
Found a local welder who is up for working on anything. Cool guy that will tackle just about any welding job. He said his normal rate for stainless steel work is $65-$75 per hour, but he only charged me $20.
Now I don't have to mess with test pipes or any other big change.

i have the extended warranty to 90k miles but it doesnt cover clutches, they are considered a wear item. when it happend i was getting on 121 at william d tate, i could change gears but had to physically pull the pedal up everytime. so i was able to go down 360 to 183 and make the double loop back to 360 northbound, luckily i was able limp home. wherever i get it fixed i got a friend of a friend that works for a tow company, he said he would take it for $50 wherever

well from looking at the one i am getting compared to the factory one is that it is supposed to be easier to bleed etc, but if you look on the site it says that alignment is very important.. that is my only concern

i am having the parts overnighted so if they are open monday i will have them in hand tuesday.... since it is my daily i also need a quick turn around. how long do you think it would take us to do it?
If it's something the dealership isn't going to warranty. I wouldn't even bother with the POS dealerships. I'd take it to a nice performance shop or jake's garage and hold him at gun point with dos equis .
If anyone likes to clean their exhaust.. here's what I use to clean mines and the outcome. I love it.
Meguiars M105
Before. My car was pretty darn dirty after 2 weeks of crappy weather. I only sprayed the tips with the pressure washer at the coin car wash.
After. This was after 1 layer and 1 wipe off. I didn't put much work into it. If I wanted it crazy extra clean I could do it a few more times and put some more elbow work into it but I'm a little lazy sometimes.

^ That doesn't sound gay at all... lol.
Q, have you tried Mother's Aluminum Polish and if so, how does that compare? I use that for my exhaust tips and other metals that I sometimes find.

LOL. I see guy friends who are into cars go to car wash together to wash their cars and cruising after etc. It does sound a little homo lol. But when I was younger on my first car, 95 Integra. All my friends had similiar cars like a prelude, integra, civic ek. We'd all go cruising together, we'd even swap cars to admire our own cars rolling and do photo shoots. It sounds lame reading it but it was a BLAST.
I haven't never used Mothers Aluminum Polish. I read good things about that as well. I've used eagle1 neverdull before and it worked alright. The meguiars definitely beats the neverdull by far though.
