hey guys kinda new to the forum, just picked up my black 08 base last week, do you guys ever have any meets on saturday nights for beer and to just hangout around the Fort Worth area?

Yeah they are pretty rough, but you could rebuild and powdercoat and it comes out to the same cost as buying a pair in mint condition. 
Hey is your G sedan black with a "SPEEDHUNTERS" decal on the quarter window? If that's you, your right rear wheel wobbles. Car looks sweet though.

We've been doing monthly meets typically on Sunday mid afternoons that a few of us (including me) have slashed on the last couple of times but i plan to make the next one. Most of us in here meet up for autox and track days at least once a month. Feel free to come out and at least ride along. It's free but I'll tell you, if you ride along, you're going to wish you signed up to drive.

btw if interested i am about to swap out my intakes, right now i have the stillen gen 1 intakes with the boxes (the only true cold air intake for the HR), and the Z1 post MAF tubes if you are wanting intakes

okay.... is everyone good with meeting on the 31st? 2 weeks out and no excuses......suggestion on where? bone daddy's in grapevine, hooters off 35e, or bikini bar at loop 12/35 split

woo hoo, another black HR. i will tell you one thing about the HR's. your throwout bearing WILL go out, its just a matter of time.... parts are alot more expensive than the DE versions, and when/if you ever get tuned you wont get the gains like the DE, i only got 6hp.

pop chargers are good, but for the price i gave you its not bad. the boxes kinda keep the factory look under the hood. so when your bearing does go out spend the money and get the Zspeed one with the wilwood master.....

Finally had time to repair the passenger window motor in the Z. The brushes were worn out, I replaced them. It worked fine for all of 30 minutes and now I get the door slam procedure again.
Sigh.

On another note.....I did go to the Auto show last night spontaneously with a couple of friends.
Good thing I had a free ticket, cause I wasn't impressed with anything on the floor.....they didn't even have the New Vette !
But here a few pics....I'll post more later.
Also, Jake or whoever...what are those circular wheel things on those brakes ? I couldn't see what they do ?
