I believe I have seen you before. I work in Plano off ave k and legacy and drive to mckinney several times a week. I have a black 07 with nismo exhaust.

 

if you work off ave k and legacy you're pretty close to where my stompin' grounds are, the other day i saw two silver coupes and one had what appeared to be (it was dark so i wasn't sure) carbon fiber sideskirts, and today i saw a lemans sunset with a decklid spoiler and either chrome or polished wheels...any claimers on those?

 

i came over here from the honda/acura scene, and while i still am undoubtedly a honda fan, all i have to say after gettin' to drive the girlfriend's z is that....i get it.... never again will i drive a FWD automobile...

My friend said he saw a bunch load on 30 when he was exiting fielder. The worst part about ice....SALT!

 

I didnt know they used salt in Texas.. I just saw sand all over the place, and I just cleaned my car too.. Doesnt it always work that way? *sigh*

bodyshops will be busy...I bet they love weather like this..

 

im pretty sure they only used sand in texas but i have been proven to be incorrect in the past.

 

^^ ya, i saw only sand where i drove today..

 

They use a sand/salt mixture. It's not really "salt concentrated" enough to cause rust, but still nasty stuff.

 

its nice to have a beater to drive in this kind of weather.

 

yeah, i usually use my gsxr to commute but this weather sucks

 

dont they use some chemically created substance to melt the ice? has a slight blue tint to it and is round i believe.

 

they use a kind of blend that's got salt sand and a chemical that does what it can to get rid of the ice, either way, the stuff SUCKS, and yes, usually crap like this does happen after we clean our cars...

 

Yeah, add me to that list - I had cleaned my car 2 days ago. It was fun sliding around a bit, though.
