I recently took apart my headlights, inside of the lense is perfect...all the haze and crap is outside.....wet sand then polish is your only option really.

I'm tempted to get some HFC's. APS just doesn't have the loudness I was hoping for. I don't know that I want TP's though.

 

I thought you did all that and still couldn't get it cleaned?

Stu should have gotten HFC/TP installed the same time as the exhaust. Any pictures? HFC or TP would definitely increase the sound.

Chef those HFC's look pretty nasty..I may take em to try to gut it out.

Seems to sound loud enough for me..you trying to wake up the whole neighborhood instead? Probably doesn't sound loud to you on the inside of the cabin (which is a good thing?)..have someone else drive the vehicle and you stand outside or drive another car.

 

Haha yeah, considering I'd never had anyone drive it I didn't realize what it sounded like outside. Now I see why people would look when I drove by sometimes, it was a little louder than I thought. I'm driving under 75 today so I'll see how it sounds under that.

Chris, I want maybe a tiny bit more sound. I think test pipes would be too much. I want something where it's fairly quiet for cruising, but loud when I want it to be. Plus I think my dad will be driving it while I'm at college, so if I can scare him away from that it's a win-win.
