Chris, I want maybe a tiny bit more sound. I think test pipes would be too much. I want something where it's fairly quiet for cruising, but loud when I want it to be. Plus I think my dad will be driving it while I'm at college, so if I can scare him away from that it's a win-win.
I can take a video if you want.

I have the GTspec rear tie bar on now, the passenger side pipe rests on that, as well as hits the resonator. I'll go take some pics for clarification.
Q, It's basically the y-pipe back version, which doesn't exist, because this was modified for the FX, an AWD one at that so it needed a specific y-pipe. I have a pic of the whole thing, after I spent a couple hours polishing it all

Here's the pics of the problem areas. I still have to see if the my other GTspec will fit, but I think it will. I may get it up on jack stands sometime soon and see if I can't bang the cover in that the resonator is hitting.

No they hit that big *** metal shield. You can even see in the pic where it's deformed and touching. Looks like sentry removed his.

If I can get to those bolts, I'll remove it, and see if I can't reform it to fit better. Maybe that's what causes my rattling just under 3k rpm, although it feels like it's right under my feet.

Since yours is FX, it made me little confused.
Here is under the another Z

Im sure that cause a rattle, even looking at thhe your picture, resonator is right up touch the shield. Looks like you can get them off easily.

Yeah, that's an added piece. The last owner had the small "reverse y-pipe" flipped around, so he hit the w-brace, while I hit the metal shield. I will probably take it off and see if that fixes the vibration I feel. It's just that the vibration is up front, unless it just resonates along the pipe.

Nope, it's completely normal except right at about 2900 RPM, and it only does it sometimes. Like in my video, it doesn't do anything when I pass through under hard acceleration. But like if I'm in a high gear and only going 40, and floor it, it hits in that RPM range and makes the noise.
