well, technically doesn't it have to receive a spark of electricity to ignite that fuel?

yes, the Electric spark starting the electric 'motor' starter will then turn the flywheel thus turning the crank.......but no one builds the starter......they build the engine.....and then electricty to spark the spark plug, but the engines runs on fuel not on electricity - what it "runs" on is where the definition is derived......meh....

thus the term engine build.......not motor build.......i hate seeing it mentioned that way is all i guess....

i dunno, its the engineer in me getting all fussy..

I see I see. so you're saying it's "built engine" as opposed to "built motor?"

This little debate came from Kristi wanting to know if anybody ever taken there Z in for a recall of a fuel line replacement? Haha. Built motor, built engine..such technical talk. I see it as the same thing.

Fuel line recall is only for those with 03s and early 04s, I think. I had mine done 3-4 years back when I still had warranty. Supposedly, the fuel line in question could burst and cause a fire or something. That's why there's a recall and recommended that you get it serviced.

TSB stands for Technical Service Bulletin. That means it's just a guide for Nissan mechanics to follow when performing those services. If you're under warranty, then it'll be covered by Nissan, but you'll be charged if you do not have warranty. Recall is different in that Nissan takes care of the unknown issue at their cost, regardless of warranty status.

What about when they say "running on all motor" to mean only the engine? Haha.
