already seen that.. i called them and asked what they could do for a 370z... and they said that they would have to look at it and the kit should be comparable to the 350 kit. but who knows.. hahah i might just buy the motor, and keep it in my storage unit until i break something.. (or someone comes out with a cheap, GOOD swap kit) haha i mean an ls3 with a t-56 for 1100 is a steal.. haha my friend LOVES wasting money. and im thinking a 500hp n/a v8 z might just tickle me.
edit..
i saw that thread. it looks rough but it would be BALLLLER.. could you imagine pulling up next to a cammed ls 370z at a light..
maybe we should just win the lotto, buy a warehouse, put my 3.7 in yours and the ls in mine.. we would be VERY happy.

no matter how cool a car is, you can always drop an LSx and make it cooler. cammed ls3 on spray in a light weight car would be sooo badass. buy the motor because you won't find a deal like that on it again.

buy the motor and sell it on ebay for 3 times what you paid.

just trade your 370 in a get a vette, seriously. its sounds glamorous and all but the time, $$, potential headaches, and still having a 370 after all that is stupid. that's why most people end up selling their cars shortly after conversions like this. as a side note, there is a SRT10 Viper on ebay with 24k on the OD for 34K.
buy the motor and sell it on ebay for 3 times what you paid.

If you do decide to do it though, let me know, wouldn't mind working on something a bit less ordinary for a change.
+236 to buying it and reselling it.

I know it would be a rather large pain in the ****.. but im all about different, and i have had 2 corvettes and a trans am.. and GM's fit and finish just isnt for me. I liked the corvette but when i bought my 04, by the time i was finished with it, it just lost appeal and i hated the profile of the car. It was VERY long and kind of awkward. Cool car in a straight line but i dont know if it is for me. Maybe i will just buy the motor, sell it and then start saving for a TARBOOO lol

Soonish I will have twins on the shop car though, that is going to be nice.
I would recommend F/I to anyone, it is amazing, get some sways and coils to go with it and you would have a track beast!

most first time boost drivers are usually the ones that blow their motors. throw an EBC at it and crank that 'ish up until she kabooms. I've stayed away from boost just for this reason until I can handle the addiction.

LS engines FTMFGDW!!!! Definitely buy the LS3. I also say you should sell it for a profit.
As cool as adding turbos and whatnot to a N/A car is, it's also very costly and time consuming. Additionally, there are too many stressful factors to take into account. In the end, you'll still have a Nissan and it still won't be that fast. Look how many people have built engines and turbos and whatever. How many of these people actually claim to do any sort of racing to put their hard-earned cash put to use? Very little. Doing all these lavish mods seem to be more for "online status" or "look how much money I have" than it is for personal enjoyment and racing experience. Many who claim to race rarely do and those who claim to beat the hell out of their car has theirs in pieces most of the time. In the end, I don't think one can justify the amount of time and money going into a project like this when it's all said and done.
Years ago, I wanted to add turbos to get xxx whp, too, but I now care more about actually enjoying my car and doing things with it than I do about what I'm going to spend more money on to make my garage queen in pieces work for 5 minutes longer next time I manage to get it running and "race" with it. That's what I gathered from this forum anyway with respect to forced induction on a N/A platform. I just think there are so many other cars you can choose with the money you'd be spending and actual fun to be had with the time you'd be saving and life to enjoy with less stress on your plate.
As for the engine swap, you'd actually be pioneering the LS swap into a 370Z. From these types of threads I read on our forum (there were 3 different LS swaps into a 350Z I think), it seems like it's an enduring process. I predict a LOT of headaches for you if you choose to go this route at this point in time.
Like Jason/Nexx said, sell the car and start with a better/faster car/platform if you want more power, speed, handling, etc.
Maybe I'm looking at this from a slightly subjective pov of "function over form," but that's my 2 cents.

Turboing the vq never works out right. The cars are rarely very fast and definitely not worth the money. Chris mentioned the lsx series of motors. Those are na motors that do very well with forced induction or straight up na. The ls6 is the exception it's not the right motor to mess with. Ls3's however I've personally seen close to 800 rolling around stock block internals heads etc etc. Very nice power plant.
