Yay my boss got me a compound bow today! Too bad I can't go deer hunting this year. Apparently for non residents you have to put your name in a pool in may to get deer tags. They say it's almost a guarantee that you'll get your tags but they just do it for extra money for the state. I've got rifles and handguns down now time to learn how to shoot a bow. I've shot long bows and recurve bows but never a compound. Should be interesting.

 

You ever plan on texting or emailing me the status?? Just trying to figure what my next step is on everything since the other guy bailed out.

RX8?? Hope she is use to letting it warm up and cool down like a turbo car. PITA car to deal with, but if she actually drives it she shouldn't have any problems. Should of gave her the 350z hehe.

 

Don't those RX-8's burn oil really bad ? My neighbor a few house up from me has one and he hates it ! I keep trying to get him come race with us.

 

Burn oil, crappy fuel economy, no toque and they depreciate faster than a rock falls from the sky lol. They handle pretty nice from what I hear though but I've never driven one.

 

Correct, Rotory engines are not a good daily driver motor. They are meant to be wound out. The problem is most people dont go over 4krpms so, it gunks everything up. Well there go the seals lol.

They handle great honestly, I would say even better than the Z. But without any power behind, what fun is there. I'd rather keep my Z with busted turbos than to drive one of them.

Ive heard horror stories though and one dude about turned his shiet on fire cause it was in the shop more than his garage..

Also, effed the transmission in my work truck today towing one of my bosses friends out of the muddy sand crap that they got stuck in. Stupid Dodge transmissions. It drives but it shifts hard into second and wont go past third gear ona a six speed A/T. The shiftable automatic mode wont put it into the right gear either. At 65 mph I was at 2800 rpm which in a diesel is alot. the damn thing starts hitting the redline at 3100 rpm
