8 runs - 4 morning runs and 1 hour break for lunch, then 4 afternoon runs........
you can most likely be done (depending on run group) as early as 1pm to as late at 3:30pm...

If you look close! you can see all the AUTOX tire marks on the asphalt! LOL..

I am no longer like the rest of you guys and gals. I traded the Z in tonight for a Camaro. I'm gonna miss the Z and having a convertible, but having only two seats just got old when you have a family of four. Thanks to all of you for your help/advice and good laughs. I'll still "hang out" in the lounge and toss my two cents in every now and then.

Nice Camaro! Definitely a nice vehicle..but I do see a million of them on the road now. How much more does the SS cost? That extra 126hp sure does sound nice. Debadge that advertisement badge asap and license plate frame too.

Thanks for all the congrats. I didn't see the dealer badge until my wife took those pictures last night. And the dealer plate frame will come off when I get my plates. The SS starts at around $35 I think. I drove one, and it is a beast. I really liked the 426hp, but not the price tag. I needed the leather package since I have kids, and with my other options, was pushing $40K easy after TTL. Too much for me. I would have liked all black, but there are none out there with all my options. I've never owned a Chevy before, and this being the first run of this gen of Camaro, I hope to avoid any big issues. I got a 5 yr 100K bumper to bumper on it just in case. I'll see if I can't make it out to a meet sometime or to C&C since it's not too far from me.

 

Nice ride FishBrownie, I think if I were to buy an American car it would be the Camaro.

Tell me what are the differences between the RS & SS ? Also don't they offer like 5 or 6 different engines from a 6 to 8.

 

I believe rs is only v6 just adds hids leather vinyl stripe and some more minor addons?

SS is a monster with another 120ish hp

 

I think I would have to get the 6.2L engine. Color would be either black, gray or silver....with Blk leather interior.

 

so i am about to buy an hks hi power exhaust but when i checked it out the burnt tips were rubbed off.... is there any place on the exhaust i can look at to see where it would say "hks" cause from what i was told hks tips dont rust off but the x02 do.. my first thought was that it was an x02 but not sure anymore.. the exhaust was bought off a forum member here vboi88 and the guy im dealing with told me that vboi88 told him "i had it for a while and never cleaned it" any advice would help thannkks!

+1, the camaros are huge, heavy cars. i couldnt believe how big they seemed in person. need a v8 to push that monster around.

 

Pm vboi and ask him. I've seen some threads that compares the two. You should be able to find the difference because of the welds. I'd look it up but I'm on the phone so I can't search.
