^ wowzers..........im guessing it was your first time in a Z....

To me,the Z clutch install is way quicker than in a 240....much more room in a Z.

Im lost on the flywheel bolts? what was different about them???

either way.....ya knocked it out.....congrats..

GOOD MORNING GUYS

I am loving this weather ! I know it won't stay this cool & dry forever....but I love the non-humidity in the air.

Drag Racing will be fun ! I hope I can make it...Labor day weekend is hard for me.

ended up having some interesting issues like whoever put the last flywheel in didn't use Nissan flywheel bolts so I had to go to two different stealerships to buy them. Ended up not finishing fast enough before I had to go back to work so I'm just about done now. I just have to bolt up the exhaust and the interior around the shifter. It's sad cuz I did my buddies clutch in his 240 like two months ago in four hours and that was including taking the time to resurface his flywheel.
damn - that sux - no T-55 torx hex eh? guess them fools decided on using whatever they wanted. thats FAIL. Glad you got it done - certainly is a accomplishment when you do it on your own.. Gotta get that car high enough though or else your in a world of trouble through out the entire install.

The weather is nice.........

For those of you interested........If you haven't noticed I have been on a bushing replacement streak lately........

I have true coil overs, so naturally on my list is to replace the rear upper shock mount bushing on the rear knuckle.

well, i found out that if you have true coilovers you can use your spring bucket bushing to replace a blown out shock mount bushing in the knuckle.

Here im using a 26mm socket to press out the oem spring bucket bushing:

I also found that the rear shock mount bushing is the same as the lower "lug" spring bucket KNUCKLE bushing as well.

I bought whitelines that i plan to install hopefully this weekend.

Jason, Say I go with true coilover style coilovers. Would I only need the shock mount bushings assuming I went with rear tow links as a replacement for the spring buckets?

I suck at explaining but I think once you see it it'll make more sense. If we do the whole install at once that should make it easier to tell what needs to even be done.
