Stu, That's actually a very reasonable quote and turn-around time. Don't be impatient with it cause quality powdercoat jobs are worth waiting for. A week's wait for $420 custom color job is not bad at all.
I don't know how they do it...but they do it over night I think.
If you drop your car off on one day ( early enough )....you can pic it up the next day towards the end of it. They will dismount & mount tires as needed !
They rock !
They do all the upper end dealerships in the area like Sewell Lexus.
Haha yeah, that's only one of the reasons that made me go with them. I never got to talk to Burleson coating though, but thanks again for letting me know about them. I think they would have been better than Ace.
^ wowzers..........im guessing it was your first time in a Z....
To me,the Z clutch install is way quicker than in a 240....much more room in a Z.
Im lost on the flywheel bolts? what was different about them???
either way.....ya knocked it out.....congrats..

ya popped my clutch cherry on the z lol.the flywheel bolts that were in there were just regular 14mm bolts and when I tried to put them in they head of the bolt started going to deep into the face of the flywheel and I couldn't torque them. The oem bolts are torx bolts. Ya I bolted up the exhaust and interior around the shifter today and it drives so much better. I really noticed a big difference in the shifting from changing the transmission fluid. Flywheel chatter is almost non existant now somehow, no mote annoying squeak from the TOB and the clutch pedal is significantly lighter although I don't really know why. I have a stainless steel clutch line that I'm gonna put in this weekend when I lift the car up again just to make sure all of the bolts seated properly and havnt tried to back out. Out of curiosity, are you, or anyone else you know of, going to the meet in southlake this Sunday?
Ok Jason asked me about the video link I posted. I wonder if anyone here has seen it cause nobody has posted. I'll post it again since we're on a new page and because I think it's hilarious.

It looks like you have the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo on there now. That's my choice for my next set of tires. But it also looks like you have Kumhos in one pic. Running different tires front to rear?
