Sooooo I am buying a Titan it looks like.

 

I got my BS and got the hell outa there. But if MS is even a remote possibility for you, I would go for it and don't wait. It's hard going back when you start to get rooted in your life you know?

I kind of think nowadays MS is the new BS. Seems like a BS doesn't mean as much as it used to.

if buying a titan used - be aware of the spider gear rear end failures the 04-07 models had, rear axle seals.

exactly......I plan to go for my Doctoral degree regardless.........I know in my current industry and career aspirations a PhD wont do much for me, but i do plan to retire as a college professor......so with that it will.......

I just want to be called "Dr. G" and I wanna flunk some douche bag college kids!

In my current position, I train engineers and certify them to do their job. I teach a course thats 8 hours a day, for 10 days with the 10th day being an 8 hour time period for a test. I have unfortunately seen people fired for not passing. Boeing Aerospace gives me authority to teach this class.

doing that made me release i definitely want to be a professor one day...

How long would it take you to get your Master's? Doctorate?

 

Yeah I'm not a huge A&M fan. Ever since I visited there.... I either got one too many "howdys" or something. I still remember leaving a summer engineering thing with my friend and we blasted the Texas fight song and gave the Hook 'Em sign out the windows.

 

U asking me? my masters I finish this May, 2011. I wont start my Doctorate till a few years down the road.....I plan on moving back to Texas A&M College Station to do that.

That sounds good. I'm in a 5 year doctoral program right now, but I get a Master's 2 years into it. It's good that you have a passion for teaching and are planning your life toward it. I'm personally planning on having my own clinic, but we'll see. It seems too far ahead right now.

I want to be called Dr. ______, too.

 

After the real Doctor Zhivago and your new status in Chicago....of course since we all have Z's....I thought it fits nicely.
