im leaning towards the Brian Cower stage 2's. i have 3 inch down pipes ive beening sitting on for a year along with my cosworth plenum. id like to be around 600whp without too much boost. do i have to get diff? i think i want an adjustable one. 2 way for drag, 1.5 way for autocross/road course.

stu... its on now, you gotta start blacking out errr thang!!!

How'd the C-Clamp do on removing those studs?

Anyways one day my car decided it wants to sound like a fully built corvette.. click on pic for video.

Think my test pipe either has a hole in it or the bolts loosened off...don't know how some of the turbo guys run open headers like this it's driving me nuts but it does sound pretty cool..i such a ricer.

Nexx man YES!!

I hate to say it but your spinning your pedals backwards bud...

all that engine and one wheel wonder..........

and YES.......the oem vlsd is one wheel wonder.......especially with all those ponnies.....your fooling yourself...

as for 2way versus 1.5way? im guessing your interpretation of drag versus autox is a little skewed??

2 way = full lock on acceleration and decelleration.
1.5 way = full lock on acceleration and half lock on decelleration...

so in drag, arent you full lock on take off with two Z's on the line, one with 1.5 way set diff and one with a 2 way set diff (both diffs being the same company, ie os giken, etc) ?????

I think you need first:
-an oil cooler before you need cams.
-a power steering cooler before you get on a road coarse.
-Nismo diff cover when putting in the LSD
-extend the diff breather hose to a clear bottle to monitor or diff go boom on road course.
- your takata belts bolted down, subs and all..

- I would loose the cosworth or say hello to common leaks at the curves due to the cosworth havinga crappy design....YOU will have leaks with your power level....leaks at the plenum mean lean engine, mean boom.....

used OEM open ended bolt at the end and pressed it out - it was super easy.

What test pipes do you have? I thought you had HFC's..

jake, ball joint remover tool is baller!!

great job on those studs...

Q, its not a typical c-clamp...a c-clamp wont work as it wont have a hex end to turn with a ratchet with force... c-clamps usualy just have a hand turn end handle...thats not gonna work..

I think they're Ichiba Test Pipes..I don't even remember. But in the video something is wrong or broke or loose cause they are extremely loud right now I'm basically running open header and its crazy loud, the video doesn't even do justice. Sounds like I'm in a muscle car now.

I thought those C-Clamps did not look normal.

Stu those GTR wheels look sexy on there! Big different.

if they are hosed - I have some megan racing TP's I can sell ya - they were austins and still look new..

If I was you though - I would be hitting up a vendor on some Random Technology HFC's...

They look like this - but of course used.

your right about the diff, 2 or 1.5 way would work fine for drag racing. 2 way is best for drifting. it would just be nice to have an option of changing from one to the other. might as well leave it at 1.5 way and if i ever drift change it to 2 way.

im thinking about selling the cosworth, the cams will help the car make power up top anyways. i can use the money from the cosy and buy the diff. GTM competition oil cooler looks like nice kit so ill probably go with that. power steering cooler, havent looked at those at all. need to do some research.
