I would contact Stance and let them know that their extenders broke and that you're going with a trusty Craftsman tool. They charge extra for those extenders and you should get your money back.
Stance is sending out a replacement, but I'm still going to go by Sears
Smart man. Kinda sucks that that extender is crap though. Is there any talk of them redesigning it?
their extender is big time crap...see it simply catches the sides of the top of the coilover with two lil allen keys......then on top of that, the wire coil is weak and breaks like nexx and chase have found.
I would use T handle with ball end and call it a day.
I have however seen extenders from other companies that use an allen key end, would be funny if they fit........i bet they would, but you would have to physically check someones out and see if they would work..
^^^black 03. So I'm seriously thinking about buying an e36 m3.
Replacing an exender for my coils...Prob just going to end up using the allen wrench. Yea Jason, that was the first time since the install trying to adjust, the thin spring just snapped in half.
Cheaper and a bit easier to work on than the E46, much cheaper to boost, and some BMW guys consider the E36 the last "true" M3. If your willing to suck it up on miles, they can be had for under 10k, and the E46 Ms were acceptable DDs.

I actually almost bought an e46 before my z. They are just hard to get at a good price. I mean honestly for under 40k miles you can still expect to pay around $30k. My buddy has an e36 that he got about three years ago and I absolutely love that car. It's a little slower than our z's (at least it was stock) and it handles great. Looks great too IMHO. That motor takes pretty well to boost as well if I ever wanna go that route. I was thinking about getting one more as a toy than a dd but it just seems backward to do that since I would have my car with the back seat as a toy and my two seater as my dd.
