^^^ the tires are what I'm unsure of right now. I'm looking at either nitto nt05 or the newer falken azenis rt615k. I really like and would prefer the falken but they're just significantly more expensive.

Nice. I don't want to have to deal with putting new studs in up here in Chicago without a garage or even basic tools. I thought my face was falling off walking 10 minutes to the bus stop. And I sure as hell aren't going to pay someone to do it for me, so I'm probably going to get the v2. Or, I could just wait until May when I come back down to Dallas for about a month and do it then...

Are those wheels/tires combo (whatever you decide on) going to be for track use only? You getting a square set up or staggered for the tires?

Now that my old wheels have snow tires mounted on them, I decided on making them my dedicated snow set. My dismounted summer tires have been just sitting in my house for 3 months now waiting to be mounted again (in 2 months), but at least they're sitting next to their new friends...

My drag strip wheels/tires will join the rest of the gang in Chicago soon, hopefully.

No they're for daily and the occasional autox (about once a month or so). I unfortunately can't afford to buy multiple sets of wheel and tires right now and I'm probably selling my stock wheels to my room mate cuz he wants to do the five lug conversion on his 240sx and use them. That and I want the battles on the car all the time since they look nice lol. I'll eventually buy another set that will have r comps on them for my dedicated track wheels/tires but for now I'll work with what I've got. I'll be running nitto nt555's up front (for now) in 255/45-17 and either the 615k's or the nt05's in the back in 275/40-17. I'll eventually switch the front tires to a matching set of whichever I decide to get probably when I sell my stick wheels if I decide to do so. I'm still kind of on the fence about selling my stock wheels though. I guess I kind of want to hang on to them as a just in case set lol. I'd like to use them for my track set but I'd really like to have wider tires on than those wheels can support. Might just be me being a freak though lol

Patrick - why 45 aspect in front and 40 aspect in rear? car may look funny with different aspect (front and rear). I speak from experience. The battles wont need spacers IMO but if you insist. Also if you need a fender roll.. you know who to hit up.. hell Im doing one today..

Thanks for the encouragement guys

I will have to set a date, and just pick a good place.

BTW ... about coming to Drift event

I have 2 sets of tires already .... trying to get another 4 so I can drift all day

I shouldn't run 305's while drifting should I? would 265's be better? I might even just watch my first time, but I wouldn't mind driving either. I would really like some new rims for the event first so I can destroy those and not my nismos

Also I am 19

Looks like I wont be going to dyno day this sunday either...

Have to take my green moray to Centerville Texas where the Houston aquarium is picking him up. Must say I am so stoked about my moray being in the Houston Aquarium.

Anyone know how long dyno days usually last? I wont be back till about 3-4

Also those rims are sick Jake. I really liked my old enkis even though I got **** every where I went... If the the eclipse wasn't FWD and the ecu wasn't a mess I would give up my nismo any day to have it back.

when you say you have 2 sets of tires...you mean with wheels too right? I went all day on some 245s. You dont want 305s to drift on - too much tire.. I wouldnt go bigger than 265s. But hell - if you get them cheap..

Awesome that you fish is going to a GREAT home! so bad a$$ dude..!

Only have one pair of nismo shoes. Everything else is just rubber. I am looking for 305's right now and have 285s at home. Currently I am running 265's but they are almost done.
