TROOF! Eric can handle pretty much everything I can..if tools are needed - let me know - I just might have it..

now - can we stop talking about Jason leaving...it makes me

Use this calculator from now on:
http://www.1010tires.com/wheeloffsetcalculator.asp

Input values of an aggressive offset wheel or a flush one (ex. Volk GTS @ 9.5/10.5 with +16/17 offset) and see how your new wheel compares. It'll tell you how much more or less it'll stick out than the known-to-fit-flush wheels.

Ya according to this calculator I'll be losing 10mm of clearance on the inside towards the strut and only 1mm in the back. They test fit everything first and lowered it to check for rubbing in the front and they say it might rub the splash guard a little on the front especially of I'm taking a sharp turn.

Jake you were right about the aspect ratios lol they do look a little goofy but it's only temporary til I can get me two more nt05's for the fronts. Then it'll be all nice and even.

Well one of my wheels rubs but only when I hit bumps too hard so I just have to be careful. It's because my suspension has 116k miles on it and needs to be replaced. M passenger side front fender is actually sitting over half am inch closer to the tire than my drivers side so this is just an excuse to go ahead and get my coilovers.

Just out of curiosity, what made you decide on Megan coils?

Price and I have quite a bit of second hand experience with their coilovers on my room mates 240sx. I know they aren't the best when it comes to suspension but for my application I think it'll be perfect. I daily drive the car and for now I'll be doing autocross once to twice a month but no major tracking of the car anytime soon.

Patrick,

You can get quite a few brands of coilovers for just a tad more than the Megans. Stance, BC, K-Sport are a few off the top of my head that can be had for around $1k give or take.

Are the Megan "track version" a true coilover though? Also need to look at spring rates and adjustability. Biggest thing is you like them under a 240 and they will be different under a 350. Just throwing out some info.

Jake,

I thought your stance were supposed to be better than K-sport? Or is the "drift series" supposed to be better?

p.s. - sell me your stance when you get the k-sport

I can't really vouch for them....but I have taken my bike to DFW Honda off of 114 & William D. Tate in Grapevine. All I really did was have some general maintenance & fluids changed. They seem fairly reasonable in the pricing and were pretty prompt with a finish time.
