Default PIX D/FW g35 meet w/ debut of ATI Procharged coupe

Just wanted to let you guys have a peek at our meet this past weekend, which was sponsored by Grubbs Infiniti.

Ahhh...the first ATI Procharged G35 in the country!

Nice pics, I see in the window of the ATI one that it has a sheet, is that a dyno to the wheels? If so what was it?

I don't think they even went into heavy tuning, because the thing was running extremely rich. Only put out 302 to the wheels at 6psi ... dyno'd in 103 degree weather that we were having last week. I think with proper tuning it could have put out at least 330 down.

I don't know who that bootie belonged to...sorry!

I'm not knocking on the g35 crowd, but at the meet I was probably one of the youngest ones there at 26. I think the average age was 40-50. Having the dealership sponsor this thing, along with the unveiling of the supercharged coupe probably perked more interest than a general meet.

The club is actually getting organized pretty well. We have 2 co-presidents and sponsorship from the dealership. Also now sponsored by Carter Blood Care, since one of our presidents of the club donates monthly. We all get $1000 worth of blood if needed for surgery or emergencies thru the club. I'm looking for other sponsors as well.

We're going to have meetings at the country club every quarter, along with monthly drives. The next one is going to be to Import Mix car show, and all you Z guys are more than welcome to come with us. Most of the g35 guys post and read mainly on fresh alloy, and very few come to the Z boards (where the real action is at IMO) But I guess I can be the liason between G and Z.

I was one of those old guys at the meeting. I was so impressed with the SC that I ordered one for my Z the following Monday at Grubbs. They were very very helpful with the deal. I am getting a turn key set up for a flat $6k ( that's parts install and tax) I should be up and running by the middle of next month.

I was also told that all 350Z car owners are welcome at all the G35 meets
