Somewhat off topic, but I got my first ticket since 1995 on my way back from Houston last week. I was about 10mins from my apartment and I get pulled over for going 77 in a 65, out in the middle of nowhere off Parmer lane, bleh. He wrote me up for the front plate also, but just a warning. A warning is just that, right? it's not a fix-it ticket when it's a warning? It's been so long since I got a ticket, guess it had to happen eventually. Highway patrol has no love, all my tickets have been from THP.

Why should they quit patroling?....and give up all that free money? NO WAY !
If they stopped harrassing the folks on the roads, they may actually have to do some police-work and have to actually arrest some criminals or something.
Is it me, or does there seem to be more and more police sitting around with radar these days?
Here in the Houston (and South) Area, there seems to be a real up-swing in the number of policemen just sitting on the side of the road, blasting out radiation.
Makes me want to quit driving...NOT !!!
