Default 2006 Z Touring - DFW -Need replacement wheel

Hey,

I'm new to the board, and recently purchased an 06 Z touring. I have a right rear rim that is scuffed/curb checked that I want to either get refinished or purchase a used one. Do you all have any recommendations for shops in DFW that can refinish the rim, OR, does someone have a spare they wouldn't mind parting with? These are the 18" factory wheels.

Thanks for the help - Clint

humm, let me see...brb..

bingo, sorry, im the DIY mod so buying another wheel is just crazy talk when it comes to well........anything really..

Here is one of the threads i was thinking about, but there are some that actually show the wheel you are talking about...just search around for it.

This is the wheel repair/poor sparrow died thread:

Also, search youtube for videos too, there are some good ones there covering how to do this......

I'll keep looking but search is your friend around here, the site pretty much has the answers, or links to the answers for most of the basics and not so basics.......

Jason,

Thanks for the link. Call me a sucker but as bad as the wheel is chipped and lip is bent, I'm not sure this is a DIY fix.

I plan on coming to a meet, but this Sunday I'm going fishing with the old man so I won't be able to make it this Sunday.

Anyone else know of somewhere location, or anyone got a spare?

Thanks again...
