unfortunately, I heard that it cannot be done through UTEC just yet... they might have that module provided in the future... just don't know when...

The hardware is in place now, the software is however not ready for release. It is however on the list of things that we wish to update sometime after the first of the year. As always, software upgrades are free.

So is there an ETA on any of these modules to be relased, mainly the VTC module? If UTEC will be able to control the Nismo VTC pulleys I might actually look further into getting cams...

So there is no splicing and cutting of wires? It just plugs right up?

Correct, no splicing of wires. The UTEC is plugs right into the factory harness for a very straightforward installation.

Hope this helps,

My only concern and the only thing keeping me from ordering my right this second is that I have an 05. From the way I understand it the function that allows you to raise the Rev limit and remove the speed limiter will not work for the 05+ 350z. Can someone please confirm this?

This was aslo the same reason I decided to hold off from having the guys at AAM perform a reflash of my ECU. Are the 05 and 06 models that much different than the 03 and 04?

Honestly, revving the 05 motor above it's factory rev limiter doesn't seem to make a difference. We have the hardware on the UTEC to control rev limit the software to do it will be release at a later date along with VTC control. It also doesn't bang off of the limiter like the 03 and 04 cars so rev limit control isn't needed.

Thanks,

So any real OFFICIAL DATES of release yet? I've been waiting long enough and think i may spend my cash on something else.

Honestly, that is something I have not tested on my car. I rarely find enough road to try such activities.

Thanks,

Jermaine@turboxs.com

P.S. The next time I put my car on the dyno I give it a shot.

Thats a good point. You should try 95 south.

Would you happen to know what the expected gains are from a stock Z using the pre programed UTEC map?

We're doing a tuning session on a na 350Z right now (basic bolt-ons). I'll post the results this afternoon!

We can flash including rev-limit increase and speed cut on all of the 05+ models!

You can but you need to retain the MAF for its air temperature sensor. The next software release will allow you to use a TurboXS air temp sensor to completely removal of the MAF.

Mike... YOU ROCK!

Thanks.

Now heres my situation.. I found an extra $1500 in my sock draw and all my X-mas shopping is done. I'd like to buy my Z a little something to tide me over until my new wheels are delivered from Z1. I'm been eye-balling the UTEC for some time now, but I've been conserned about all the talk that "05+ 350Z are not supported at this time".

Can someone please educate me?
