OMG, i want. I've been complaining about the drive-by-wire since i first got it. I especially hate how the throttle closes immediately after you let off the throttle so that when you get back on it it lurches like crazy. Wish Nissan hadn't done that.

I dont think that lurch is caused by the TB plate.. I always thought it was the weak sauce mounts? It only happens in 1st gear for me.
Btw, if it were the TB plate, wouldnt you be able to tune it out?

Lets say you're driving on the freeway, say around 70, and you left off. The motor goes immediately into engine braking so when you get back on the throttle the car lurches instead of accelerating smoothly.

From what ive seen there isnt a way to tune this problem out. I've seen one tuning company swap out the e-throttle completely and change it to a drive-by-cable unit out of an Infiniti unit and they control it with a FCON vpro.

it's a little known fact that Technosquare's ECU reflash can reprogram throttle body / gas pedal sensitivity... they already do this "removal of throttle body lag" with their current reflashes when the driver goes Wide Open throttle.. however, if a particular user wants to make the pedal SUPER sensitive, the throttle body control can be change for any throttle input (i.e. NON-WOT)..

if that BEE-R box fails, your throttle body will remain in the WOT position, which would make driving slightly difficult...

for those that are interested in this type of modification, you can ask for it when you purchase the F-spec reflash....

Why would the B R fail? And you think they have it programmed so it doesnt have a failsafe? I highly doubt it.
