Ok can we get back on topic, I'd hate to see this thread get closed.

Simply fact, most people on here don't believe in going triple digits on public roads.

Lot of "what ifs" there... The same things can happen to a pro racer. It's my life and I've been living it like this for a long time. I'll continue living it like this for as long as I choose regardless of your comments. Been 12 years of high speed driving and I've not ever even broken a bone in my life...

I'm sorry, I guess I'm just inexperienced and naive. So, you kept your foot on the floor for 15 minutes, NOT every week, but several times? And you went 150+ on a wet highwy, one night, taking the turns w/o lifting? BTW, your gas mileage at 160mph is NOT twice as bad as it normally would be. I'm guessing at 5600RPM your engine would be making 250+ hp. Conservatively assuming that fuel consumption is linear with power produced, you'd be lucky to get 5MPG at that speed.

ok. so first off.

1. yes you can still attach a consult II to the obd2 to clear future codes, the reflash doesnt over-right that ability.

2. the reason why people remove the electronic speed limiter is up to the end user. technically the speed limiter is still there. its just set at like 300mph or something that is physically not attainable with this car.

3. as of my last visit, they were testing with various intake and exhaust modifications on the 07. hopefully it's done by now. i'll post an update tomorrow when i go over there.

thanks for keeping this on topic guys.

Cheston? From Maxima.org? Did you have a blue 97max or something? I think i remember you from years years years ago back.. anyway back on topic..

With these reflashes, are the A/f ratios safe for normal driving? I know you guys dyno these to check the a/f ratios, but do they tune the car so that cruising around town / freeway commutes ect (daily driving) is not detrimental to the motor? If you can answer this and it is deemed safe for our motors, I'll have my car at technosquare the first day it is released.

It my understanding that they do not tune partial throttle. That remains stoich at around 14.7, they only tune WOT. I believe their site says they typically tune to 12.5:1 for NA applications but they may have the option of leaning that out further. I would also assume they have programs for different octanes as 91 is the highest in CA.

I'm curious still. How about like 90% throttle? 95%? Does it ONLY change at 100% wot?

whats the turnover to open loop for this car(HR powered)? 75% or greater throttle at or above 3000k rpm?

thats what my sentra specv was. I tuned my afc to only make the adjustments I set at that point. If I allowed the changes to kick in while in closed loop, the computer would fight the settings.

I am suprised that there haven't been any impatient people installing dual afc's to the HR powered cars.

great point, i have an 07 entuhisiast. i've had great success in the past with the s-afc on my supra, and leaned it/tuned it to 12.7 with an egt, knock sensor, and widebank. 12-12.5 is safe @ wot. U are correct, the crossover to closed loop is 70% load.

Moroninc -- and a pending Darwin award. I hope you don't kill anybody else while you are heading down that path.
