Yes, in both cars I think there is more low-end 'grunt' in my '04 Automatic Transmission 'ed G35 Coupe than my husband has noticed in his RevUp '06 Manual Tranny 350Z. He says that he feels more gains in the above-4,500rpm area. Jared has stated that with fine tuning using the datalogs we should see some further improvements and we hope to take him up on this very soon.

We have a G-Tech RR coming and intend to make some runs comparing the different maps and comparing the cars. This should give us some better info than the 'butt-dyno' numbers we have been relying on.

Until then we continue to drive with ever-widening grins on our faces

Can't wait for some dyno's. For anyone that dyno's, make sure you atleast have one dyno in the "Stock Map" to see the difference between that and the "Performance Map". That's the best way to do it.

I don't trust butt dyno's

So out of all the mods you have done to your 5AT coupe (I have a 5AT also) this made the biggest improvement? Thanks for answering all of my questions

Surely you've heard of PMs. This is the Osiris thread after all.

My apologies, I believe I read your post too fast and thought you were asking her which mod shes done to her car that yielded the most gain.

There is currently no charge. UpRev has reserved the right to start charging for it in the future.

Default My UpRev Experience

Well, I wanted to throw in my 2 cents of UpRev's tuning solution...

BLUF: HIGH THUMBS. Great service, neato product and tool.

Jared sent me my 5 maps yesterday...while he was home sick, dedication to service. My car feels really smooth throughout acceleration. I have similar results as to what billybunn has already stated. Plus Cipher is a great tool that makes this product more competitive.

Sending Jared some logs soon. When I move to Ft. Hood next Feb. I'm going to have to stop by and thank them personally.

Thanks UpRev.

My husband did the Injen CAI, then the HKS exhaust (true dual) and now the UpRev reflash. While seeing some improvement with the first two, the reflash gave the best gains. This may have been due to the reflash being based on the first two mods being installed. I don't know if there would have been as much difference without them.

Maybe someone on the board who did the reflash without any mods could give you their impressions, as well.

Oops, I just realized you were asking about MY car. Sorry. Anyway, I installed the NISMO exhaust first; some improvement but nothing spectacular. Then I put on the Injen CAI and got a worthwhile kick in the butt (and also got a real neat 'growl' above 4,000rpm that sounds wicked). We then put on the plenum spacer (which took away the 'growl', bummer) with no real change. With the reflash we got a big bump in performance, the 'growl' came back (big time) and I was happy, again! Hope that helps

Just got mine in. Looks badass (as much as a cable could). It's going on my car tomorrow along with the finishing of my header install. Headers, high flow cats, and a tune all in one. You can beat this!

Cool. I have very similar mods (Headers, HF Cats, spacer, & exhaust) and I'll be looking forward to your review.

Tuning should give you quite a bump.

It would be interesting to log some A/F data before you install the new maps, too.

That would be interesting. It would show the difference between the OEM ECU setup for emissions and a tune for more power.

Unfortunately, I suspect that most people won't choose a tune for their first mod. They might want a bit more chrome or sound.

I received my Osiris Kit today. I haven't burned the ROM file into my ECU yet, but I did run into a couple of interesting things.

I upgraded from Cipher, so the Cipher software was already loaded on my notebook. I figured that the Cipher software could stay on the computer because Osiris came with the same version of Cipher. However, I had a difficult time loading the Osiris driver. It turns out that the old Cipher driver conflicts with the new Osiris driver and has to be uninstalled. After removing the Cipher driver, plugging in the Osiris cable starts the "New Hardware" wizard and the install completes as usual. The Osiris driver works for both Osiris and Cipher, so everything is cool.

I also received an e-mail from UpRev listing the Cipher parameters UpRev requires to create a custom ROM file. It contains more parameters than were listed earlier in this thread, so I'll post them here.

It would be nice if the Cipher parameters were in the exact syntax (form) as listed in the Cipher program. It would help determine exactly which options were required.

It would be really nice if Cipher had a button named "Osiris Log" next to the "Clear All Parameters" button. The "Osiris Log" button would clear all current Cipher parameters and select the parameters required for an Osiris tune. It would be good for users, and it would help the UpRev guys because the correct parameters would always be recorded.

Very good idea. I'm soooooo close to pulling the trigger on this and that would seem to be very helpful.
