No its just $600 for the tune, and then after that if you want to go back he charges 170 per hour to retune. It usually will only take 30-45mins for a retune. So about 125 bucks. My car is tuned by him using Osiris.

I was able to complete the flash & get everything running this weekend. There is a noticeable improvement in performance when running the tuned map (the car wants to get sideways when going WOT in the top of 1st & 2nd gear). I cant wait to get this thing on a dyno. I'd like to thank Jared for answering all of my questions and for his patience.

I have the base ROM installed, which according to Jared, was pulled from a car dynoed with almost the exact same mods as mine. It appears to be running decently, but if I want to tweak my maps any further and I use Cipher to record some runs, which parameters do I need to monitor?

Q. What parameters should be logged for AFR eTuning?
A.
AFR, B1 and B2 (Make sure your ECU is set up in the wide band conversion. See Cipher user guide)
Accelerator position (either one)
Base fuel schedule
Calculated load
Coolant temp
Engine speed (RPM)
Ignition timing advance
Throttle position (either one)
It was posted earlier in the thread.

Some place in this Thread someone says it's in the guide. And no it's not above this post. HaHa
Anyway How goes it out there? Are we getting close on the user tunable Ver?
Jared I may give you a call tomorrow if I don't forget.

The button would clear all the current settings and check only the parameters required for an Osiris log.
That wouldn't be too hard to add to the Cipher code.

Wow, just finished reading this entire thread and I must say, this looks like an incredible product as is right now and looks like its only going to get better. Would love to see some more dyno proven results, but after reading all 29pages I have basically writen off the cobb handheld. Wonderful thread and bravo to all of you that have been the pioneers and guinea pigs for the rest of us. Trigger finger is getting itchy, but going to wait just a bit longer to add a few mor bolt-ons and since Im an 04 also need to look into a wideband. Any way to record the a/f reading from the wideband in accordance with the logs from cipher so that the a/f can be matched with the rpm?

Awesome, but what about for all of us 03-04's that dont have the ability to log a/f ration with cipher, how would we be able to data log a/f and have it match rpm? is there a way to record both sequentially?

Thanks. This version of the Cipher manual has been on their website since at least 10/18 when I downloaded it. I was referring to an updated version from what is available now.
Correction: V1.03 has been around for over a year.

You have to use a WB that can log RPM so that I can match the WB log up w/ the Cipher log. We do plan to update Cipher so that it can log the innovate WB directly but end user tunability and HR support are higher priorities right now.
