Each motor is slightly different in terms of what it likes on the fuel side so a real time tune with back to back runs should provide you with better results IMO

FWIW the first pull after my TBS was 5hp higher than my previous baseline....as the ECU learned I gained even more....but I also have a popcharger (cant say whether that helps but it may be a factor)...I am also on the higher side of gains seen for a TBS and all the gains were topend with that thing (stock map)

This is actually the third tune I've received from Jared. I do have the beta I honestly have just been so busy that I haven't found time to tune it myself.

Did you reset the "Learned Fuel Settings" via Cipher before the runs?

Does this make a noticable difference before the dyno runs?

Resetting the "Learned Fuel Settings" won't give you the higest HP/Torque numbers, but it is good for the guys at UpRev to see how their tune works

I just returned from the dyno. My results are in the thread below. They are interesting to say the least.

As you can tell there are huge gains in HP/TQ between 3800-5900RPM. Before that it drops off horribly, especially at 3300.

I know Shawn Church is on the west coast and I had heard ( a few months ago now) that they were trying to work with someone in Florida to be honest with you.

I'd send them an email and see what they say.

I'd like to know too. They are using Osiris to control a 600WHP Greddy built motor so when I go FI, I would like to use Osiris with mine as well.

UpRev has said that this would be the case. I upgraded from Cipher to Osiris and the price was fair.

It's in beta and some shops are already using it. I would think it would be real soon now...

1) Sure is.

2) Cipher and Osiris are two different products. _JB had to pay to upgrade. Jared said they will probably make the Osiris upgrade free for people who already have it.

3) Mid January is what they are hoping for.

Jared originally said that the Osiris Real Time Tuner software would be an charged upgrade from the standard Osiris. They are actually two different products as the current Osiris has no tuner capabilities.

HOWEVER, I sure hope you are correct, because then I will get it for free!

It does have tuner capabilities but not presently for end users... you need to go to a certified tuner.

Based on what’s been said on the boards (as I'm sure you know) talk is they eventually will have end user capabilities.

Straight from the horse's mouth, emailed to me, one week ago:

We do hope to have the end user tunable version of Osiris ready for beta
testing by the end of the year which would put the released version sometime
in Jan. We are going to make it a free upgrade for current Osiris users.

Later,

Jared
