Cobb's Accesport is officially released. Some kind of update on the User tuneable software would be nice.

I really don't understand why it's so hard to get a 3min post update from companies these days.

Yeah I would agree. You would think it would be crunch time around there to get something put out ASAP IMHO.

The UpRev guys have never been big on posting. Jared used to post once in a while when Osiris first came out.

I suspect that they are hustling to get the new user-tunable Osiris out.

That and:
1. They are working with Nissan and putting a performance package together for the Titan
2. Working on getting the electronics of Noah's v8 swapped car straightened out
3. User tunable Osiris
4. Built motor Z
5....

Hmm odd. How are they going to address the GM ecu with software designed for the Nissan ecu code?

thats a good quetion. ive been wondering about this too. ive noticed that everytime i switch maps it takes time for the ecu to adjust to the afr and timing targets. so if you went from sport map to the nitrous map i wonder if you would hav to drive around on it for 10 or 20 miles before spraying the nitrous???

You might want to post this in the NOS section. They'll probably give you a better answer.

I believe in this instance that you would be better off with the UTEC. I think it has the ability to control your NOS solenoid and offer some protection that a ECU alone would not.

I have a Uprev (yet to run it cause of winter). I was told by Jared I can just use my second map to pull timing which he did. He also told me the map switch is instant.

If there is a delay then this might be something i have to look at. But i was told it was instant.

I'm running Water/Meth anywho so I don't have to pull as much timing so its not as big of a deal for me.

Yes, the map switch is instant, but I believe that just sets the new targets. The ECU still learns towards them.

In any event, when it comes between Jared and me... Believe Jared every time. If he told you it would work for NOS, I would believe him. He is the Osiris/ECU master.

More info mate. Are you running two maps? Pullling timing? How big of a shot?

I'm runnning a 100 shot right now but i'm in the process of switching to a dual stage set-up with a 50 shot at 3000 RPM and an additional 75 shot at 4500 RPM. All five maps are loaded but I almost always use map 1 which is N/A optimized until 4000 RPM and then has timing pulled for the nitrous beyond 4000. I'll be getting it retuned when I get the new system set-up.

Why the dual stage.. Most people are running a 100 to 125 at 3500 and on. Just being cautious?

My plan was for an NA and a Nitrous map but I'm now going to try just run one map w/ no timing pulled. Then when im on the spray I'll spray water/meth.

See if the tune will allow that plan though.

Dual stage because I loose gobs of traction when the nitrous hits at 4000 RPM.

IMHO anyone hitting a 100 shot at 3500 RPM (on a stock motor) is asking for trouble.

The dual stage will bring the power on in a more gradual fashion, less torque spike on the engine and hopefully no loss of traction.

Thanks for the info. I disagree on the 100 shot at 3500 as it's been pretty proven by alot of people. But other than that sounds like you'll have a great setup.

Ive got osiris and nitrous. The only thing I had Jared do was pull timing across the entire rpm range to be safe. I use the dynotune window switch to activate the nitrous from 35-6400rpms. Ive got 48n 26f jets in now and put down 325rwhp and 388rwtq, but I hang with my buddies 400 rwhp supra I love nitrous

Any idea how much timing Jared pulled?

You just pulled it in the window switch range right?

My only concern is the way the maps learn. If i run Map 1 all the time on NA its going to tune itself nicely. Then i switch to map 2 and I'm starting over.

That's why my plan is to run 1 Map and just spray water/method when on the spray so I hopefully don't need to pull any timing.
