2. It learns from both.
3. eTune is just air/fuel compensation, unless theres something major going on there, and we tune for both open and closed loop.
4. When did you get your last eTune done?

Correct which is why Shawn is the tuning god that he is.
How many other vehicles are getting support at this time? What is my average wait time for a usable tune if I pay tomorrow for a tune for my 05 350z with a Injen intake and nismo thermostat?

I am pretty impressed with the reviews this kit has to offer. I have been reading this thread for about 3 hrs, YES 3 hours. I am very interested to say the least. The only thing that sucks about this is that I have an 03.
So to my understanding I can still use the cipher to datalog but without any A/F data w/RPM readings? So really it wouldn't be possible to get an e-tune without the A/F data correct? Just trying to get a better understanding of this. I did plan on buying a wideband controller, but I am still confused on what a RPM pickup is and how to even install one or use it in conjunction with a WB.

An RPM pickup is exactly what it sounds like, it picks up the RPM. You want a wideband that has a RPM pickup so you can determine what the AFR is at a certain RPM.
That is how you tune your car.

But what about the wideband thing? Will they be able to tune my car without it? Maybe im not understanding how this works. Are there just maps that I can flash to that I dont need a wideband? Or to get my car tuned do I need a wideband???? Im lost and whenever I try to call uprev I get no answer, can somebody take some time and help me before I just order the Access Port!!!!!

UPREV FTW!!!

EDIT: from the cipher product page:
Below is a short list of available data parameters...

Throttle Position Sensor
Vehicle Speed
MAF Sensor
Calculated Load Value
Oxygen Sensor
Ignition Timing
Accelerator Position
Wide Band A/F Voltage (2004.5+)

Thanks for the help. Im not really even totally sure that I have a 04.5?>?>? I cant find a for sure answer on this either.
Didnt somebody along time ago post something about the wideband 02 sensors have different colored wires? I cant find that post either.

I'm 04.5 (but G) and Osiris is fully functional... for Gs I can tell you the VIN sequence that determines 04.5 but I doubt it will correlate with a Z... you might want to search and see if anyone has posted the VIN for 04.5 out here...
To my knowledge only very early 03s (version 1 cars) are fubar'd for Osiris... so you should be okay anyway...
