04.5's have knee pads, update/revised suspension (look at the stickers on the shocks), etc.

I got my UpRev last week and haven't been able to use it. Right now, it's just a $700 expensive *** cable. Requested a Map from Jared and he's been MIA. No replies, no emails, no confirmation from him. So far, I'm very disappointed with their customer service. Can't say what I think about their product yet. Hopefully the performance enhancements will make me quickly forget this somewhat bitter taste I have in my mouth right now.

Yes, it did come with a single ROM map file on the disc containing all 5 maps that I specified. But since my cruise control is broken, by default, I will only be able to use Map #1. My Map #1 is Stock settings. Thus, I requested Jared to send me a map file with just the Tuned settings I need. Still waiting.....

even if he sends you that file, your still not gona be tuned, thats just a base map, your gona have to do a log with that map and send back so he can tweek it more. patients man...its worth the wait.

How does map switching work?
Using the Cruise Control Buttons...
-Hold the set/coast toggle down
-Press “Cancel” once for map 1, twice for map 2, etc...
-Then release the set/coast toggle.
-When you release the toggle, the cruise "SET" light on the dash will blink once for map 1, twice for map 2, etc...
Is the Cruise Control still functional with the map switching feature?
Yes

So ECU's are no longer ROMs, much like back in the day where tuners would actually have to replace the entire ROM chip with something they burned in. Our ECU is a flash based memory so you can write to it. How many times could be speculated. I am not certain of the material composite but if it is something similar to a USB flash device, then you'll never saturate the cells.
The great thing about Osiris is that it does allow real time tuning off of your laptop. You can save this tune like any normal file and come back to it if you still want to work on it. UpRev actually recommends this is you are doing a lot of tuning so you minimize the total number of ECU flashes.
With that said, I know the guys at UpRev have flashed a single ECU hundreds of time so it can be assumed that it is pretty safe.
