Hey, Cheston!
I know I have been asking so many times, but
when will 5AT ECU come out ?
Can't wait to see how much improvement it has with 94 Octane gas from Sunoco!

Scott- 5ATs will probably be next week... contact danny, k?
Zep- TSI have conducted some tests with the Injen CAI... i will ask for dynos.
Zaphod-- if you want to retain your own ECU program, you have two choices. 1. Purchase another ecu, have that ecu with your immobilzer code copied over and that one tuned, or 2. The stock code will always be on file, so if you ever wish to return to stock program you can have the stock program uploaded.. they do not leave any digital signatures, so even if you plug in a consult it wont say 'tuned by XXXX" or anything like that... technosquare has a 1 year warranty on the code they upload...

I would do this in a heart beat... the only problem is I cannot have my car down for 3 days - it's my daily. You guys should do core changes/charges!!!! That would be AWESOME.
UPDATE:
I have been corrected - core change is impossible due to ECU keying...
Wishing there was a local shop now

Congratulations, after many months of hard work, it finally pays off. My only question to you is this: let's say I buy the TSquare chip, and later on I get new cams and headers. Will the chip accomodate these mods on its own or is a re-flash recommended?
Great show man...
Now its only 6 days until I move to San Diego....hehehehehe
No core swap for me!
I'll just pull up and git it!.
Here's a Q...
If i take my car to the dealer...do they ALWAYS hook up the consult? or is it only if something is going wrong...
No speed limiter..muhwahwahwa

very true
I, for one, will do the TSI ecu after most of my mods are on, since my plan is to have cams installed.

Zoasis:
can you live w/o the car on a weekend? cuz if you fedex it friday, on some occassions, Techno can work on a weekend specifically for you, and have it mailed out to it receive on the following Monday... im sure if you call them they will accomodate you..
Daytona- yes. the ECU should be able to accomodate your new mods, but to take even more advantange, they can reflash.... there is a one time flat fee of $20 for unlimited updates...

Yuichi told me check back tomorrow or friday, as they aren't quite setup to handle the orders yet at strictlyZ.
Cheston, what are the chances of the service department overwriting the code when a software revision comes out?

unless there is a service announcement telling the dealerships to update the software (which is a little rare).... you dont have to take it in because you're on the new modified program.. but if the dealership does it while you're in for service, for example, then you can get it reflashed for free.... just keep your receipt/order number.
