Default Got the bolt-ons, time for a tune...

Have a 04.5 Enthusiast I recently added Injen Intake, Intense TPs, Bassani Exhaust, and MD 5/16 spacer and now I am thinking about getting a tune. I have read nothing but good things about the UpRev Osiris tune so I think Im going to go that route. I would really like to get it tuned on an actual dyno but unfortunately looks like Im stuck with e-tune since there isnt a tuner/distributor for Uprev in my area. I was looking at hopefully ordering it from a vendor on here and just wondering where you guys ordered them and how hard it was for a new diy'er??

It's extremely easy to upload the tune, but I have to be honest I would definitely get it dyno tuned.

How close is:
Genesis Racing & Development
875 N. Ellsworth Ave.
Villa Park, IL 60181
grdperformance.com
(630) 834-5600

If you are going to do the standard........I would just get it from UPREV themselves.

Would a tune do me any good with a Skunk2 5/8 spacer, Popcharger, UR underdive pulleys, and an Invidia N1 Catback?

put it on a dyno and have it properly tuned or dont do anything...get a civic if u wanna do mail in crap to tune ur car...im sure there are plenty of places around or within a decent drive... i drove 6 hours first the time i was tuned and 4 the second time...most of us here do unless we live next to some of these places on here

Well I think this is all the bolt-ons I can really do for the Z besides opening up the motor?? I dont want to do headers because it is a DD and I dont want the exhaust to sound crappy, I was researching lightened crank pulleys (tune not needed) so I wouldnt know what else to add right now. I am really hoping to add a stillen/vortech this winter...Im such an idiot, I didnt even think to look at GRD, they are 1HR 20Min from my front door I think Ill be calling them up and going there for a tune, that would be my best bet right?

GRD is the most reputable VQ shop in the midwest... Talk to Irfan or Chris. I can vouch for them. They do tune Osiris and many other flashes and standalones. Tuan is a phenominal tuner and can tune just about anything

I am going get Osiris in the spring time . They will definately help you out

Im kind of reluctant on the S/C right now because Im undecided how much I want to do with THIS Z, I picked it up for a really good deal but its got 60k on the ticker and dont know if I want to start throwing boost at it with this kind of mileage, I want to get the tune so that I can get the most out of these few bolt ons and up the rev a little bit.

My friend BonesZ33 ran 13.3 with his bolt on 03 Z without a tune. Hes on the top 20 1/4 list on here.

His mods are: Kinetics V+ upper plenum, Megan longtube headers, Stock Ypipe with invidiaN1, and thats pretty much it. Again thats without a tune and crappy stock wheels and tires.

Honestly, my time is poop for the power the car is making.......it was the first time out on drag radials, and I only got 3 runs while the car heat soaked in LONG lines. You can PM if you want to know my mods. If I don't go 12.99 or better this fall I am going to run it off a cliff

I would love to be into the mid-low 13s with this Z! I dont know if thats possible with the mods I have right now, but Ive never taken it out to the track to see where its at right now, I wanted to do the S/C so I could push into the 12s but the car already has 60k on it so Im kind of reluctant to throw boost at it now
