Default Re-tuned @ Z Car Garage - Impressive result!!

Ok, so back in August 2009, I had my car tuned at EIP Racing with Osiris and received 24.7 rwhp gain which I thought already impressive, and it was the old link:
https://my350z.com/forum/tuning/4498...tang-dyno.html

*Please keep in mind that every dynos are setup differently, the initial # doesnt mean anything, the dyno at Z car garage has some slightly lower number but all we care is the gain*

Car was very responsive ever since however I still felt it just didnt perform what it supposes to be with all the mods I got. As some of you guys know, 50% of the time my car are on the race track and it even lost to a stock HR on the straight line. I was disappointed.

So I decided to bring my car to Z Car garage and have it re-tuned (Osiris), I wasnt really have too much hope and thought that I might just having a weak motor. The result? The dyno graph say it all:

Tuned @ EIP racing (BEFORE):

Tuned @ Z Car Garage (AFTER):
Another 16.83rwhp / 15Tq on top of the previous tuning!!!! Rob@Z Car Garage impressed me again!! My Z feels so much smoother and faster than before and according to Rob, he actually had to de-tuned the car a little bit in order to make this gain.

For whoever who dont know what is Z Car Garage, they are located in San Jose California. Google it and if you have a chance, stop by and check out all the amazing Z at the shop!

Glad to hear about your gains and nice meeting you the other day. I knew something didn't seem right with your previous result since you dynoed so much lower than me on the same dyno with practically the same mods. See you around.

Thanks Scott.

Gabe, that was exactly my thought before the Z Car garage dyno tune. By the way, your car is awesome and unique!! I have already subscribed your post on the N/A tuning section!

By the way, I'm amazed that you're able to top out 5th (with your gears) at the end of the front straight at T-hill with your old tune. That's about 125mph, no? You'll be going into 6th with 17rwhp more. We never got to do a straightaway lead/follow to see how the power:weight differences showed on the track. I had more power and less weight, but don't think I was going much over 120mph at that same spot.

Max I can do on the thunderhill straight is 123mph before turn 1 when I took Turn 14 perfectly and already started accel. at the apex on turn 14 all the way to turn 1. But ya, I can't wait to see how it performs at thunderhill again, I might ran out of 5th gear this time. I got an invite for July 7 (wed) @ thunderhill too, I may go, but not sure now, how about u, Scott?

I can't go on the 7th. . . I thought we hit your rev-limiter in 5th just before T1? You will feel the added power.

Rob cleaned up my original EIP tune as well. He also performed a de-tune that happened to run much smoother and cleaned up my rough idle to boot.

+1 to Zcars uprev tuning.

Could this be possible due to the ECU being smarter than we think with reflashes, and it is accually reseting its own values?

I don't think I should have to say 30+ hp from a NA tune seems astronomical.

The old reflash was still there before the 2nd tune. I can feel it.

Your final Dynojet numbers reflect the mainsteam results with your given mods. Your tune must of been FUBAR, since others obtain those final #'s with approx. 16hp after initial tuning.
