From the ad:
So because you said it's sold as is, it's ok to sell a utec for $400 that you know is bad without disclosing that? Not only did you not disclose that you also said it was on your car for a year & it was working & operational. Yes it ran the vehicle, but with almost a 50% voltage drop to the coils & no control over fuel- I wouldn't consider that a "working & operational" Utec. I guess the buyer also should have known, "it's time to move on with the car" was code for "this utec is bum, I will still have the car & everything else 6 months later"
You want to give disclaimers about stuff being sold as is that's fine with me, here's my disclaimer-
If I ever run into you, expect to get smashed in the face with a 6" x 6" "working & operational" paperweight.
Sorry mods, had to be said, I'll shut up now. /thread
Honestly guys I got fed up with it and just sold the Utec. Any advice on what to use next for engine management? Something that is proven to be without hick ups.
I hope you told the guy about the issue, obviously there is something going on with that UTEC.
I did let the seller know that there was issues with the utec.
I have had it installed in my 2002 maxima for the past year however its time to move on with the vehicle. So this unit is for sale........ ............The Unit is SELL AS IS. I do not gurantee the indvidual wiring skills of the installer. But like I stated, the unit was working and opperational in my maxima.
