Default Do I need a re-tune?..

Hey all! Hope easter weekend treated you well and you haven't gone into diabetic shock from the sugar...or lack thereof. To put into short, I have an 08 Nismo with X02 dual exhaust, Fast Intentions Resonated Test Pipes, and Stillen Gen 3 Intakes and UPREV tune. Last May I got my z tuned with all the above mods minus the test pipes, I had HFC's at the time. Over the winter, I acquired the test pipes from a buddy who sold his Z. I put in the test pipes in myself, and after extending the 02 sensors and brillo pads, the CEL has not come on in a few months. My question/concern is, should I get a retune now because I am still tuned for when I had my HFC's? Am I jeopardizing my engine by running on the tune that my HFC was set for or will the ecu compensate a bit? I got quoted from my tuner that did mine for 100 bucks for a retune, should I do it? Could expect some slightly better numbers and maybe a smoother running engine, even though I dont feel a difference for the worst. Sorry for the long post!

Okay, I just figured with the minimal cost of only 100 bucks to do a re tune, I figured it would be worth it

Technically a tune after any bolt on is considered generally a good idea. Honestly though in your case, you'll be perfectly fine. If it were me, I wouldn't re-tune until I did another major mod.

For $100 check the air:fuel ratio. If its OK leave the tune alone.

Fair enough! The car seems to run really great, pulls hard in all gears, just wanted some input. I will use the 100 dollars for a couple dyno pulls savings for 4.08 final drive
