UPREV has recently cracked the cooling fan on/off temp code. On the VQ35 ECU's on the on on/off switch point is adjustable and on the VQ37's the on/off points with fan motor duty cycle is adjustable. The very first 350z ECU's (CD000-CD003) have not been cracked yet, the GTR and some Random ROM's as well.
If we have tuned you before and your ROM has this option, we will be offering to make this adjustment on your ROM at no charge

^^^^ factory cooling fans dont come on till 100°C (212°F). Now this is able to be lowered to say 85°C, helps initial heat soak which ultimately keeps the car running cooler
I have this option on my ROM tuned by you. Thanks Vince
This is good to help cool off the engine while you are waiting in line to drag race or auto cross.
Do the fans shut off during WOT or once your below that temp?
I just looked and mine was set at 205 C and can't change the values.
Also I'm getting the new longtubes installed monday for a N/A and Nitrous touch-up.

I have AC406 and only a single temp setting is there... no speed or duty cycle settings. Confirmed with Jared the 04.5's have limited fan control ability compared to newer ROMs. But it does work, I turned it down to 80c and the fans went full speed (louder then hell) at running temp. No idea if they have any vehicle speed cutoff...I wonder what kind of parasitic drag they cause not only in aero but on the alternator.
There also seems to be a new(ish) throttle table which seems much more intuitive than the old ones and also a fuel target delay setting.
