Syvecs S6 is a different ECU that is fitted to the car it removes the old Stock Nissan ECU.

You lose the cruise control and the MPG dash display

But you gain a lot of top end ECU features like the excellent traction control full knock control and a huge amount of othe ritems like limp mode if the oil pressure drops of fuel pressure drops ( once other sensors have been added)

For that price youre probably better off sticking with the Haltech Standalone.

Still interesting to see people developing for such an old platform.

The price for the wire in ECU is £1250 which is ~$1980.

If we could make them make a P&P version it will be cheaper due to cost savings with the wires, case etc.

that is backwards. P&P versions are MORE expensive because the manufacturer spend the time to design and make a harness for the car. So add 300-500$ on top of the standard version for a P&P with a specific harness like every other ecu on the market.

Not in this case.

We offer a number of plug and play versions of our S6GP model ECU, all designed to be housed in the OEM case for applications where stock appearance or tight clearances make a factory appearance a “must-have” feature.

That doesn't make sense. Having it custo fit cost money and limits how many applications it will work with.

Nice to see it aux io built in.

Ive emailed them for more info. They just updated the website with a page for 350Z.

Its a hard balance with EMS systems that are feature rich, cost effective, decent software, and USA availability.

Nice find but I think it's too little and too late.

Its not just for the 350z. 370z and R35 GTR can use it (S8 because of the twin throttls)

As a matter of fact the quickest and fastest GTR in Europe and the fastest one in the world AMS Alpha Omega GTR both are running the Syvecs S8 EMS.

The S8 is a full stand alone for the GTR. (Just like the UpRev you can change maps with the steering buttons)

there's barely a market for that with super deep pocketed GTR guys.

With the ECU replacement haltech available, nothing else will gain foothold in the aged VQ35 market

But can you use the new Haltech with the HR engine? VHR engine? What about people that want to swap different engines in the 350z and get control of the stock CAN BUS?

you can leave the stock ecu controlling dual TB systems and wire in ANY of the universal EMS (motec, vipec, pectal, proefi, haltech, AEM, syvecs, etc) and they do the same stuff.

Sure its a neat system, but unless you lived next door to a syvecs tuner, I would never suggest anyone buy one. Theres a reason why basically only shop cars are using these now.

It is full plug n play, pretty awesome piece for full engine control; keeping all factory dash working , boost control, traction control, launch control, cruise control, multi maps switched from cruise button. Engine limps against Low oil pressure, fuel pressure, oil and coolant temps.

I liked my haltech, but I do have a tuner an hour from me that knows this system. Might be worth taking a stab at it and see what it's all about. I know they have a model coming out for the HR aswell, full PNP. I talked to the guy that helping design it over the weekend. So good news for everyone.

Very very tempting.

End user tunable? If not then deal breaker in this small community of tuners.

Any updates on this product? Is anyone using it?

From my understanding this is the only product that will allow for an LS swap and let the user retain cruise control, traction control, and one of the few that will allow stock tach, stock pedal and AC buttons.

Let me know if you guys know of other options.

Thanks!
