Default Cobb AP on 07 HR running a tad rich???

So I recently installed DC Sports short ram intakes, HKS Hi-Power exhaust and got a cobb AP and loaded the 2+ tune cuz it seemed to be the only one supporting aftermarket intakes. At idle, AF is 14.5 and at WOT it goes as low as 10.1. I was hoping for a pretty consistent 12.8-13 or so.

I was wondering if anyone has tuned these before and has any advise or similar setup with a map that works?

Just FYI that's not a tad rich, thats extremely rich. Sell the COBB and get an Uprev tune.. There's a reason they dropped support for the VQ

That didn't exactly help the post. If someone has any advise on tuning the Cobb or a map with similar mods, let's try and keep it to that.

Do what seymore said, sale the cobb and get uprev. I'm not sure if you're even going to find any one who tunes with Cobb anymore.

Nothing at all wrong with Cobb.

They just no longer support the VQ.

They are pretty much full hard-on with Factory Boost vehicles.

def need to buy uprev.

Benefits of the mail in uprev tune vs the full $700 tuner package?

Download the cobb Acesstuner race software (you have to email them) and adjust your maps accordingly.

How far off is your A/F at WOT with the stage 2 tune? It may not need the calibration change in the MAF scaling with your intakes.

With Tuner Package you can modify the map by yourself.
Good if you are able and want to try...
Also for other roms aof different cars if they have the Uprev standard to flash ecu (license in Tuner package is for the romeditor, not to flash more cars)

So I dropped it to stage 2 rather than 2+ and it seems to run a little smoother. AF is slightly leaner at WOT around 11.5-12, which is better. The lowest it dipped was 10.5 this time rather than 10, and that only seems to be when you first mash the gas then it evens out, but that is still very rich IMO.

Still very rich... You'll want to be around 12.8~13.

As for Uprev I do NOT recommend mailing your ECU in, for $500 you get the cable and can reflash the ECU yourself and have it dialed in remotely based on your datalogs... there are even loaner cable programs out there where you can return the reflash cable for a partial refund if you're on a budget.

The $700 tuner version gives you full access to the tuning software so you can tinker with it yourself if you want it.

Given that I've had the tune on for a few days now, I will take logs tomorrow and see if the values have changed at all.

Will continue to keep the post going to see how things turn out.
