i think that video is faked. look at the part where the bmw supposedly breaks down. thats the same footage from earlier in the vid where he slams and crosses the median. notice hes in the same lane and the same wall is off to the left.....damn lying cops.

He actually does get away. This is a pretty well known vid. If you notice when the BMW "breaks down" there is no time code at the bottom of the screen like the rest of the video has. All they did was take a clip of the video where he was braking hard to turn around earlier in the vid and slow it down to make it look like he was "breaking down." Pretty pathetic of them to do that.

It might be fake or they messed up when editing.
Where the kid makes the u-turn over the median look in your upper left hand corner, you'll notice a small barn or house.
When the car "breaks down" you notice the same barn shape in the upper left hand corner and just as the car "breaks down all the way" you notice it starts to go left and the video fades out.

HAH thats crazy good eye to who saw that it was video editing that made it look like they caught him..... i went back and watched it and it is obvious it is old footage. I thought it sounded funny that his car just broke down.
I guess they just want to general public to know that you'll get caught if you run. And that this "inexperienced" 15 yr old driver can't out-drive or out-smart them. I guess they had to lie to show the happy ending for themselves and to also send a message out.

Thats a e30 m3, inline 4 with 195 hp and 170lbs of torque. I raced one in my aunts e36 328 and beat it barely. The z would smoke it. In its day it was a fast car and still to this day a very great handling track car. The vid said 240 hp, which is what the e36 m3 has. Also it said it was supercharged, maybe aftermarket? i dunno. But yea a pretty well known vid, people on the bmw boards tend to say he got away but who knows. I think its pretty funny how the cop crashed when the kid "motioned" with his shoulders that he was going to ram him. In reality though that kid was a dumbass and deserved to get caught, lucky he didn't kill anyone.
