great sounding VQs
We all know that most VQs sound intoxicating, however depending on the mods it can sound even better almost race car like. On the other hand it can sound hallow and raspy
Below is a video that has haunted me. I recently re-found it on youtube and I feel like I should share it. Sorry if its repost. It sounds that good! Does anyone know anything about this lemans sunset z, aside that it has presumable expensive cosworth parts.
I have a feeling its filmed in Singapore.
Feel free to post a fine example of another VQ.

I'm running a nismo s-tune exhaust with a unresonated custom 3in mid pipe. Its super loud at WOT almost like motorcycle. However its livable if you drive with a light foot.
I'm looking at purchasing a Dynaflow VT muffler and using it where the original s-tune mid-pipe has its inline resonator. That dynaflow is a muffler so since i'll be using it as a resonator it should really silence things down a lot.
Hopefully I can take some before and after DB ratings.
Personally I always thought the VQ is one of the best sounding stock cars.

OP, that sound is comming from enigne induction noise, and surely very little from the exhaust.
Welcome to supercars.. its mostly all intake noise. Thank high compression NA internals or FI for most of what you heard there.. almost sounds like a BIG NA car to be honest. W out googling Adams info on the guy.. im unaware either way, just adding my 2 cents.

wow you guys have an astute understanding of the VQ and this forum! Impressive
Good call on the na induction noises. I can't wait to silence my s-tune and hear whats going up in the front.

this is one sounds pretty good. I wonder what exhaust it is.

My absolute favorite: Z33 Mine's Silence VX

IMO the z should have sounded like that in stock form. You could definitely still hear the engine noise upfront, just slightly more pronounced muffler tone.
anything else guys?
