While cruising the IAT would be whatever the ambient temperature is outside. If you sat the car idling for a few minutes temperatures would shoot up to the 100+ degree area (even on say... a 60*F day). As soon as the you started moving and getting airflow around the engine bay temperatures would plummet and took less than a minute to get back to the ambient temperature.
If I did a WOT pull right after idling for a while IAT temps would shoot down real fast due to the sheer amount of air being funneled through the intake. This was done with a short ram intake btw. Due to the aluminum used on my intake it shed heat very rapidly. If anything the high IAT temps after idling were due to the stagnant air in the engine bay, and as soon as I got moving the new circulation brought temps down.
Just my exprience... take it however you like.

is this for real? if thats a production unit, then thats a decent price for 2 intakes shipped.

I called them yesterday and spoke to some idiot that didn't even know they had it listed on the website. They wanted me to order it even after they couldn't give me a date when I would get it? He said you might get it in five days or maybe more? WTF lol That place needs to get their info right.
Fujita update. They are pre-selling the 2007 intake, It is not availble yet.
Not sure, when it will be, But it will be selling for around $300

The baseline #s are lower but I'd trust them, since they aren't much lower than what others get. I've noticed a lot of people with stock VQ35DEs posting up baseline #s that slaughter my modded #s. Their dyno probably has a high number beside "smoothing."
We will have the 2007 Fujita Dual short ram intake, in stock, the first week of July.
