Sent a message to Tadashi to see if I can get some dynocharts.
*edit* I'll probably end up getting K&N drop-in filters.

Did you put your stock intake back with K&N filters?

would you recommend this reflash before or after HFC and exhaust? I can't afford to do it all at once. I know on my old GTI 1.8T the ecu was the best bang for the buck mod i did, but that was turbo and the boost was changed. any advise from the forum?

Not only are you getting added power, but your throttle response is quickened, rev limited is upped to 8k, speed limiter removed, and your throttle stays wide open for the entire powerband when you've got the pedal to the floor. Technosquare also offers very good pricing on reflashing again at a later time, so if its going to be a while before you get your full exhaust setup I say get the reflash now.

Car ran like a SOB. I miss it actually, the Z is more fun to drive, but its really not much faster. I'll always love VWs

i really want to get this program. after sending a few emails to technosquare im still torn on a few issues.
1. i wish they had a 93 (or even 94, i can get it around the corner from my house) octane program. i know that some regions aren't so lucky, but i want to get every last hp i can get.
2. i still dont understand the effect of exhaust on programing. from the email they sent me it sounds like just a catback wont effect the programing, only HFCs with the catback will. this just doesnt seem right to me. i understand the HFCs will affect the richness, but shouldnt the catback affect flow and therefor also change the map that i could benefit best from?
