Stock. Remember that peak HP is only for one specific engine speed. If you could run a 1/4 mile with each setup you'd probably get better times on the stock setup.

Sent a message to Tadashi to see if I can get some dynocharts.

*edit* I'll probably end up getting K&N drop-in filters.

Any updates on the dyno charts?

Did you put your stock intake back with K&N filters?

Sorry, no dyno charts yet. I haven't put K&N filters in yet. I will at some point, but I still believe the gains, if any, will be miniscule, so I'm not rushed to do it.

would you recommend this reflash before or after HFC and exhaust? I can't afford to do it all at once. I know on my old GTI 1.8T the ecu was the best bang for the buck mod i did, but that was turbo and the boost was changed. any advise from the forum?

I beleive that this reflash will also give the best bang for the buck. Not only are you getting added power, but your throttle response is quickened, rev limited is upped to 8k, speed limiter removed, and your throttle stays wide open for the entire powerband when you've got the pedal to the floor. Technosquare also offers very good pricing on reflashing again at a later time, so if its going to be a while before you get your full exhaust setup I say get the reflash now.

Or just get it reflashed for with the exhaust and make more power later

gti2urbo, I used to have a 1.8t Wolfsburg with APR chip and I feel the same way about this reflash. Seriously considering it though. What ecu mod did you have on the 1.8?

i had the APR 93 octane program, full exhaust (GHL), diverter valve, full samco hoses, dogbone engine mounts, club sport suspension

Car ran like a SOB. I miss it actually, the Z is more fun to drive, but its really not much faster. I'll always love VWs

i really want to get this program. after sending a few emails to technosquare im still torn on a few issues.

1. i wish they had a 93 (or even 94, i can get it around the corner from my house) octane program. i know that some regions aren't so lucky, but i want to get every last hp i can get.

2. i still dont understand the effect of exhaust on programing. from the email they sent me it sounds like just a catback wont effect the programing, only HFCs with the catback will. this just doesnt seem right to me. i understand the HFCs will affect the richness, but shouldnt the catback affect flow and therefor also change the map that i could benefit best from?

I haven't e-mailed them yet, but I was planning the reflash for my next mod. I'm a little disapointed hearing there is no 93 octane program. I just feel bad putting anything less in my car(yes I know, especially with the reflash for 91, it's fine to do). Anyone have any word on a possible reflash for us fortunate ones with 93? I'm sure the best thing is obviously to just e-mail technosquare, but I saw this post and figured maybe someone knows something.

Cliff Notes please?

TS ECU reflash = how many WHP and lb/ft when combined with a cat-back, HFCs and intake?

i know it might depend on exhaust and intake choice, but on average, what are we looking at here.

so that means when we get the reflash we have to put lower octane in our cars?

Just that if you put 93 in you will not benifit from it. So the timing will be set up for 91 and not 93. It will keep me from getting one for now.

Ah, this sucks. I use 93 only, so this too will stop me.

There doesn't seem to be much out for 07's!Thinking about more horsepower for my nismo! Is turbo or supercharger the only way?
