You run 14.0 at WOT up top? Safely? What kind of tuning experience do you have?
Not saying it is not possible, but you are pushing your limits IMO. I would richen up just a tad.
its in a DE not an HR, thats why i said 13.5:1, i dont know how much timing the HR is running up top so i wouldnt push it unless i had some datalogs. the only tuning experience ive had is on my cars. the sole benefit of running that lean is the timing advance gained by manipulating the air mass signal. I know its safe since i have been running that for a while and i took my time slowly getting there in small increments. once summer comes back, i will back down a little but since its so cold, just running the premium gas is good. the vq35de heads have such good cooling and detonation resistance that i believe you could run even leaner, but i think anything over 14.0 is just askin for it
Thanks, Im curious to know more info about the heat shields mentioned in your sig. I have Fujitas also and I am thinking about adding heats shields sometime down the road.
