Noise after clutch recall job competed
This is my repost of the clutch recall post, however I was looking for advice if the noise or problem could be something completely unrelated.....
Well, its my 6th or 7th week since I first dropped the car off and I finally had the job done. I cant tell any major difference, other than 1st to 2nd is a little easier. Quite frankly, if I didnt know my car was going into the shop, I woudlnt recognize a change.
However.
I HAVE noticed a ticking noise while the car is in 3rd and 4rth gear that was not there before the car was brought in. I am aware of the noise that the clutch or flywheel or whatever makes normally (the chatter). This is not the same. My wife described it as a noise similiar to putting a card in the spokes of a bicycle, or that something is loose or flapping. Any idea what this could be? Im going to the shop tommorrow to put one of the lil buggers in the car to hear for themselves.
